as an SSL I can tell you GC3 is basically the same thing as low SSL.. you might think you're far from your goal but you really aren't. you pretty much have the ability to reach SSL now

Not really, i think he could get better on defensive choices (He showed he was trying in the video) and be more consistent with Aerial mechanics, but he showed GREAT performance in this video, so maybe he can get SSL during this month for sure.

As an SSL myself, I can tell you that this is the time where you're going to experience insane mmr gains and insane mmr losses. Expect to get up to places like 1830 and drop to 1700 the next day. Those drops don't mean anything. It just happens for reasons that are sometimes out of your control.

I will say, the higher you get the more crucial it becomes to score the 1:1 and open net opportunities you get as they become less frequent. It also becomes more important that you can at least successfully hit the ball on more mechanical plays (like the double tap with jelelo) because your teammates expect you to and are reading for that. As a relatively new player (2 years) and older than your average (i'm 27) I sometimes think that I will be hardstuck forever because it's harder as an adult as they say you don't have the ability to learn as well.... Dude this video is sick for one big reason in my opinion. You have begun to document the real transition period between GC and SSL. Where every episode before was clouded from unprofessional challenges and mentality littered with doubt. When you smacked GC3 you also smacked the lock-in SSL psychology. I feel this next era of CBell will be unheard of.

I started the challange with you 7-8 months ago, I don't use the plugin but I've set the goal to play 30min+- of freeplay/training the day I play. Started at C2 and just 2 days ago I hit 1600 mmr for the first time. The toughest part about this journey is mental. I have somewhat good game sense, definitely have the mechs, but if I lose a a game I think I should of won, lose a couple then it's like a snowball effect, I just keep losing after. Next milestone is 1700, not far off but the new season is 2 days away so we'll see 🫡

Just remember CBell that it can all come crashing down. You're playing at an amazing level but the amount of thought and processing going into your decision making means you haven't made these simple fake challenges and controlling touches second nature yet. To push into SSL you will need to make these little things habit and not overthink too much. Keep grinding and putting in the time and you will see these things reflected in your gameplay while hardly noticing it in game. Getting from GC2-GC3 was the easy part. Now there's a season reset and the amount of time you put in so far might only be 30%-40%. It feels good now but keep the same mentality when you're at your lowest point. Love the vids❤️
