Thank you so much! I still want to do a few things to the workbench, like try to add and disguise my JET air filtration system. It's big and bulky and needs to be up high, but I don't want to mount it to the ceiling. So I'm thinking of building a shelf for it on the workbench.

Thank you! I tell you--the colorful ones threw me into a tailspin. I was like, "HOW am I going to fix this??" And I just happened to find the better fabric with polka dots at Walmart! It didn't cost very much, thankfully!

Beautiful upgrade. I LOVE the hot pink trim on the black and white polka dot curtains. Beverages is a brilliant lure for "visitors" to stop in to chat, so smart! 2:32 I also prefer to hide supplies. I mostly use baskets and inside cabinets. The curtains are perfect. They are not as expensive as cabinets and much better looking than wire racks or shelving. This is my first time watching one of your videos and may I say, I am totally shocked and awed that you know to use biscuit joiners so your front edge wood doesn't come apart. I'm so impressed. The entire room looks fresh and organized and ready for your next project. Im looking forward to finding out what it is.

That's what it feels like: hibernating....hiding out....running away....! As much as I want this to be my workshop, I spent a lot of time in here at my desk, too. I didn't (and don't) want it to feel like it's just a dirty place to work with tools. It has to be a retreat-like space! :)

Your she shed gets better and better. I love the new curtain and the clever way you've created the hidden curtain rail. That pop of pink against the black works nicely with your window coverings, withouut overwhelming them. I'm smiling at your teens popping in for a beverage. Aren't you a clever mom? I don't know if your community has home tours, but if they do, touring your space and all the changes would be amazing.

Aww, thank you, Alys! Omg, that would be amazing and brutal at the same time! Everything always looks fresh when I first do it, then everyone destroys it. 🤣🤣🤣 And you should see my yard! Everywhere is overgrown with weeds. I was standing outside talking to my neighbor the other night and I was so embarrassed about how many weeds took over my garden, and he was saying how nice it looked when he was the video I did when I created the garden. Ha!!!
