"you need to survive" was what RM wrote on glass in Prologue (if i remember correctly, when other boys were outside sitting around fire). And fireworks were usually shown as reminiscence of the moments when all boys were happy together. on the side of phonebox appeared word "LIAR" - i think that in storyline Tae was expecting to reach RM but it was not possible. So he was upset and felt betrayed (?) - like "you were supposed to be there for me, and when i needed help you were not there. you are a liar" (just my guesses) Also, since BU is about all members, their stories overlap each other - even thought there are clearly some pairs there, some bits of stories mix with each other.

I cried when listening to this song, it really broke my heart that he had such sad thoughts. But Sammy, you have to listen to the live version once. The fanchant that fans created for this is really heartwarming, when he repeats "I wish I could love myself" fans started to shout "We love you" and it's just too heartwarming... Also Tukkseom is a place in Korea :) I think it's at Han River, I'm not sure. But RM said he loved to go there by himself and just watched the people there having fun or walking around. So the noises you heard at the beginning are from Tukkseom, he recorded it there.

In the Philippines it was “SARANGHE” Watching Army’s screaming their love for namjoon... it must be emotional for him. Remember the last day of the speak yourself tour where he cried? Even tho the love yourself era ended, loving oneself is a life long journey. And as namjoon said, we taught him and made him start loving himself.. Now we must use him and BTS to love ourselves too. *SPOILERS* It's linked with the bighit Universe as well. If you watch txt magic Island mv, Ttukseom is the stop right before they travel to magic Island. Basically indicating magic Island is in Ttukseom but only way to actually travel to magic Island is by closing your eyes for 3 seconds, exactly 3 seconds before you reach Ttukseom stop (indicated by the led lights). In the song also Rm says "Ttukseom, which has swallowed up the night, hands me an entirely different world"(reffering to magic Island) Bts refers to the magic Island as magic shop though but its possible the magic shop is actually in the magic Island as well.

Ttuksum (or 뚝섬) is just a park along the banks of the Han River in Seoul and is a place lots of people often go to hang out with friends or lovers and sit by the water and have a picnic, etc. It's really beautiful!! Namjoon actually recorded the clip you heard at the beginning of all the street noise on his phone, sat on a bench there!

All of those lines namjoon said in the beginning of every videos are lines from the fictional book titled DEMIAN by Hermann Hesse. It's a story about a boy who is growing up facing temptations and dark trials of life ehich each of em are portraying in this album, especially in the title song "Blood Sweat and Tears". Everything is inspired from this novel. Those things namjoon said are exactly the lines in the first chapters of that book.

ttukseom is a park at hangang river near a subway station where rm even recorded the daily life's noises there. joonie is p much saying throughout this song that *(at the time)* he often goes here alone to reflect on his life, his feelings, and the contrast between *that* to the other people in the park that surrounds him whom are laughing with their own friends and family. tbh, this is a *perfect* place to just think if you look up the actual park on google images, and the instrumental just suits the vibe as it loops and you sit just pondering on everything in the background of your thoughts

Ttueksom (뚝섬) is a riverside/park in Seoul where RM goes often to clear his head. He went to Ttukseom thinking about what to write for Reflection and he felt the urge to write about what he was feeling at that moment, right then and there. so in hyyh the pairs are yoongi and jungkook, namjoon and taehyung, jimin and hoseok, and jin is on his own. in the wings era they got their second pairings! that’s why yoongi’s circle combined with jimin’s, they are a new pair. that’s also why there are references to the begin film in the reflection film, because namjoon and jungkook are a second pair. hope this helps!!

There is a live version of this from various countries I believe, one that's rather famous in one in Brazil, where Namjoon sung this song and when he got to the "I wish I could love myself" part, ARMY shouted "WE LOVE YOU" and he then changed the lyrics to "I do love myself." 💜💜💜

Why are so many people saying "HYYH storyline" and "Wings storyline"??? There is only ONE storyline going on. It started with mvs for HYYH pt1 and HYYH pt2 albums. Continued in these 7 short films and Blood Sweat and Tears jp mv for Wings album then continued in Love Yourself era with Highlight Reels video, Euphoria mv and Notes + Notes Book and Webtoon. And it's still going on in Map of the Soul albums with Notes.

Someone has probably already mentioned this... The intro quotes read by RM are from the book Demian, by Hermann Hesse. The one for this part is about the other world of the main character. (The first world is his father's house, family, the traditions, manners, school, cleanliness, proper behavior, bright.) This other world is all the messy stuff, "all those noisy, glaring, somber, and violent things".
