Join the crew as we tackle one of the biggest concrete jobs of the year. It has a big driveway, big stamped patio, and a big sidewalk. We got a great start on it. Stay tuned for the patio and driveway pours. Enjoy

I'm new watching this. This is 1 humble good boss. My husband use to be boss he use to be exactly like this guy you could only wish you worked for such a employer. He's generous. My husband can't stand it sitting around. He wants to go do work especially concrete. He's done bout everything even owned but bad health problems. So he just watches lol. He feels some the workers seem to not care bout equipment n things. My husband had same problem with his guys. Then made them buy their own little stuff. So they'd take care.

It looks to me like that OLD wooden mailbox post was rotted out at the bottom; finally gave way. It wasn’t painted to preserve and protect the wood. The mailbox was not hit by a vehicle, in my opinion. So that man wanted you to believe that someone came along and “axed” only the base of the post ? No vehicle would have damaged only the bottom of the post; the mailbox was not damaged. I have had 5 country properties and know what a “hit”looks like by a car or truck. Suggestion: buy a new post, paint it with a high quality paint/stain, and secure the post in quikrete. Don’t take advantage of a construction crew to replace something you should have seen was starting to rot and was in dire need of replacement. I just added another coat of solid stain to my 8 year old country mailbox post two weeks ago! Looks as good and is as solid as the day it was installed ! It’s called maintenance! Love the video insurance policy ! Great work crew and boss !

Falling onto rear pins is more common than most think. Even after noting on an accident, still no safety caps. Costs a bit, a little annoying, but saving a trip to the ER, or avoiding a conversation with an employee's family about an accident, priceless.

I have been watching this channel for a while now and as a General Contractor I can say the comradery with this crew is great. I take time everyday to put a smile on everyone's face with humor and sarcasm. We spend a lot of time together on a daily basis and no one likes a boss that is not happy. You are only as good as your crew. Ryan has a good crew and they appear to always have a good time. When you are able to have a good time and produce good work it makes that "EASY MONEY" so much better.

Your comment @22:34. Re how easy the job was. It was only easy because of your investment in equipment, formwork and labour. You make it look easy, I know I had a paving/building company, but sold out when I got fed up with being inspected by the Value Added Tax man. OK I brought it on myself by advising customers how having new and not replacing with the same they didn't need to pay VAT. The asphalt drive you ripped out if replaced with asphalt tax would be due, replace it with concrete free of tax. I used the tax angle as a discount. Great idea drilling the pins to set the form height, nice work on the float off, just pray the frog & birds don't do a walk about.

I've never seen your video's. I use to run a crew in the military for inshop repair of jet components, plus maintenance dock for large heavies, cargo, I applaud your management style. I had fun with my workers, but I also had their respect and we got the mission/ job done. When I had to be at meetings and such I was completely conformable leaving them to complete the days work. On top of that there was no job I had them do that I wouldn't do if needed or retraining. Retired now I can't get the dog to listen... I miss the teamwork...good job.

Being from Westchester County, New York (about 35 mins from Manhattan), I find it amazing that you can start working and make noise that early in the morning without any complaints. Over here we have some laws that prevent contractors, landscapers & such from making noise in the early morning hours. I believe it’s 8:30-9AM during the week and as late as 10-11AM on Saturday. Also, Sunday’s are technically supposed to have no noise at all for the day. Within the last year, they’ve even created an ordinance which prevents landscapers from using gas blowers… Yes, ridiculous! A few towns over from me actually has cops writing tickets when other homeowners and neighbors nearby make complaints. They expect you to use only electric… insane!
@OlDirtyBandit

I can't blame the neighbor for putting 2 and 2 together. It does seem coincidental, but glad that both sides actually handled it well instead of shouting or getting overly emotional. It's hard when you see something like big trucks doing work to not think that damage didn't happen. I will say the bottom of that mailbox post where it split, does appear to have quite a bit of water damage already, so it's possible that it keeled over. What was interesting is how the neighbor placed the posted right back on top of the split post, as if that was something he had almost done before. And there you go, two things seem to match up so it appears they lead to a conclusion... but who really knows :)
