Honestly, as long as it doesn't affect your livelihood, I stand by the fact you should just make stuff. Just make a whole fuckton of stuff. A metric buttload. Some of it will be good. Some of it won't. :3

Subscriptions also kill the Recommended page, it shifts all the cool stuff into the subscribed screen. Kind of overwhelming when I've been on YT for 10 years at this point. But hell yeah, authenticity and passion keeps one sane.

Hey yeah dude, make what you wanna make and f the view counts. I have seen a lot of people I enjoyed content of get a couple banger videos, then drop and feel like they "did something wrong" and give up then the content just vanishes.
