I remember you used to do alot of tiny lure challenges. I don’t know if you have a BFS combo but I’ve been catching alot of big bass in my channel with bfs tackle and I bet you’d have a blast using a BFS setup too! I also thought that second mini drum was going to get used for bait 😂

Great video! Ladyfish aka The Poor Man's Tarpon is another great saltwater fish that can be used for bait in freshwater. The fish go nuts for it.

Spotted bass are super fun to catch! They fight just as hard if not harder than a smallmouth! And yes that was a beautiful mean mouth! My PB mean mouth is just over 3lbs! You can always tell the difference from a spotted bass(will have a rough tongue) and mean mouth(soft tongue) Love your videos!

That is a great Michigan story. I am from Michigan and it is a fishermans paradise. I fish for bass walleye and occasionally panfish, I have past my knowledge down to my teenage daughter and she is a great fisherman herself now. Keep up the good work buddy. 👊🏽

Nice male king salmon you got there! They’re running up all the creeks around this time of year to spawn, and a lot of the time they’ll give you an aggression strike on lures likes spinners. Surprised he didn’t get his salmon sauce all over you haha

Nice grass carp. At least twice the size of my largest one. I got it floating a leaf on a hook. In Denver they put them in the city ponds to keep the weeds down and they run out of leaves and so they jump out of the water to eat leaves off of low hanging tree branches.

For freshwater fish, I like having tackle much lighter than you need. You can target bait fish or other smaller species on the same setup. Travel lighter and fish more sensitive. My pb fish, a 49" 30+ lb flathead was caught on 10lb line on my bass setup. I'm able to target everything from crappie to cats on that setup, just set your drag right.
