Winter finally arrived but without a protective snow blanket. The ground has gone and turned to icy-dirt Tent stakes and murder-spikes just aren't gonna work for the next 2 months :( With the 3d print C-clamp, for a small diameter mast like the LD6, instead of the M10 stud, drill holes large enough to drop the mast through. I'd probably go with scrap plywood though Probably won't keeps you from getting too personal with the TSA but useful for winter portable around town

I just scored a mic like that, too. I'm like the less successful, parallel, bizzaro version of you out here. 😆 I drew out a plan for a murder spike revision that I thought could help. I'll dig that out and get in touch. I have to get one to tinker. Too bad my goodwill only has mics and odd stuff. It'd be nice to get a clamp like that. Amazon will have to do. 👍🏾🤙🏾

That mic is working good! Is there an affordable hardened steel spike available online somewhere? I've already ruined my aluminum spike by hammering it into the very hard and rocky ground of Michigan's upper peninsula.

Thanks! No dub over. It may look that way as my audio sync issue is difficult to rectify/correct. That microphone goes into my rodecaster pro ii, which I assume is doing a lot of the work. I actually REALLY like this microphone. Thanks!
