I seriously underappreciated it back in the day. It's at least as good as the Wii one.

@GameraObscura The only game from the "New" series I do not like is NSMB2 on the 3DS because it barely introduced anything different and is overall just the Wii game on 3DS with less features. But U is a step up from the Wii entry, with the world map, all the locations being named after food puns, the baby yoshies, the flying squirrel, amazing level design, and new music unlike NSMB2
