I'm with Tom on this one the Corona bottle would be less complicated than the totem pole as far as chainsaws go I would use the gas for most of the bulkines but use the smaller battery one but the neck of the bottle is doable with either. As far as them roots go Larry it would be easier with a pruning blade on a reciprocating saw or just use a wood blade.

I make live edge furniture and river tables, Larry you are diving in head first, good luck practice makes perfect. If you’re artistic you can find shapes in the wood grain.
