It depends on the state, but in states like California, the eviction process can take several months due to the number of cases and the number of houseless people that they don't want to add to. Since evictions can take a long time, it's best not to prioritize it above food. Also, if you're looking at Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, shelter (safety) falls after physiological needs like food, water, and warmth.
@antoinettepeeps111 ай бұрын
@@SweetEssie If you are lucky, the process may take months, but an eviction stays on your record for a minimum of seven years. Even without an eviction, housing is hard to secure at the income mentioned. The courts don't care about the number of unhoused and are not taking that into consideration when choosing to enforce eviction. It would be nice if they did, but its just not a consideration. Additionally, In the Heirachy of needs, shelter is added into the base level of physiological.

The baby daddy, also a service member, provided nothing for the children and apparently the reason she wouldn't get him to is because she felt guilty asking. While I truly hope she has healing and gets those babies the monetary support they need from their father, I cannot imagine reproducing not once, but TWICE with a man-child who will not support his own children despite a full-time income. I’ll never understand why people don’t use protection especially when they’re not in a good financial situation. As soon as a I realized how expensive raising a child was and struggled with deciding if I even want children, I made sure I got on BC and always made my partner use protection. I’m 25 and still have no desire for children. I grew up watching my mother struggle and it’s not fun. No child should have to suffer due to their parent’s lack of planning. I see so many friends and people I went to highschool with popping out kids left and right and still living in their parents basement complaining that they can’t get ahead yet they have no college education, no career, or decent paying job. Most of them don’t even know how to budget. It’s really sad. You really gotta be careful who you procreate with and WHEN you procreate. If you can’t afford it, you better wrap it up! PERIOD.

I tried to get him to do good in life as he didn’t have much when meeting him when I was in the service. Sadly, he did not want to, which led to abuse and drugs. She can get aid ($) which the rest of us are paying for because you can't get blood out of a turnip even if a judge orders it. Bleed, Daddy. Personally, I'd give it up for adoption and if Daddy won't agree, give him custody. Ten to one, it'll actually go to his parents if they'll take it. Foolish girl. Unfortunate tax payers.
