And £50 million for Mainoo would be good business. None of them would get in any top team and that’s what our ambition is… to get back to being a top team. The only position Garnacho can play in an Amorim team is wingback and he’s never going to be a wingback. Mainoo has quality but he’s not mobile/athletic enough to play CM in the PL, he doesn’t score goals, he doesn’t tackle and he doesn’t assist… there’s no place on any top team for a player who offers so little

It's also pure profit bc he's a graduate. This would send a message to the rest of the squad, along with shipping out Rashford. His contributions don't justify the bad behaviour - he's had 1 consistent season in 5 years, it doesn't warrant superstar wages or stature. Look a Salah for eg - same position but consistently brilliant for YEARS and on a fraction of Rashford s wages, which is obscene!! He's a symbol of everything wrong with United. Garnacho is a young guy and I don't want to prematurely judge him...But if his attitude doesn't improve he needs to go too. The system doesn't need him. We have to back the manager and sign players who fit his system, not just bc a player has good data or has a massive social media presence.
