This is beautiful! I understand why this song was so significant in this movie. She was treated so badly by her husband, calling her ugly, dumb, black. She lost her self-worth and confidence in herself. How many women identify? You grow up in an environment where u are put down by those who say they love you. I have been here. It was only when gave my life to Christ that I knew who I was in Him. He said I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE. I AM MORE PRECIOUS THAN RUBIES IN HIS SIGHT. It builds my confidence in myself no matter what the enemy says. God loves me!!!
