Your enthusiasm is infectious; but it is your respect for the history of British is inspiring

We have to revisit this estate. The circle horse training was so interesting. I love meeting the families of these manors. They are so down to earth and amazing historians of their family histories. Just like you and Luke, they use all of their resources to keep the property going. You all should be commended for your tireless efforts!

Once again, Julie you knock it out of the Park. Your enthusiasm for the owners work,the managers and tradesmen involved in owning 'running and restoring these beautiful projects is wonderful. You allow them to shine and as well give the projects much needed exposure. I think the cows can read your Zen energy. Always love to see you laugh and smile.

Some cows have been known to do Yoga when Julie's back is turned😉🐂🐮🐄🐃😊in the past! The round building is amazing (as they all are), but how clever to run the horses in a space fashioned in such a manner!🐎🐎

I see the Ford name on your ride. You should get a sponsorship. I'm surprised they have them there, and that they work so well on the parkland.

I don't envy the amount of work that the Brudenell Family have on their hands in restoring this beautiful Estate to its former glory and it is fantastic to see that they are cracking on with it and bringing it sympathetically into the 21st Century. I can't wait to see the results of the restoration of the old riding school. Please say that you intend to do follow-up visits both during and after restoration.

Love the toast rack on the breakfast table. I'm so pleased (with myself) when I saw the round open building, I immediately thought horses. Not too pleased as I didn't get riding school, I thought training. Great vlog Julie, hope you keep us appraised of the progress of the work.

I visited some years ago, and I remember being shown round by Marion Brudenell . She came out to greet our group in the courtyard and she was obviously an amazing personality, I don’t think I would ever forget her. She gave us a fascinating and dynamic tour of the house.

Thank You Guys!)) Great Job putting all of this together!))) Great Eye Luke(if it’s you behind the camera)of getting the incredible nature shots. They can use the flower fields for the bride and groom photo shoots also. I LOve the idea for the horse riding ring being used for the markets etc. but when it’s not being used for that, I bet people would pay good money(which most people that can afford horses have)to get the unique experience of riding their horse in The Only And Historic Riding Ring In England. I would if I had a horse.)))lol Lots of Love from across the pond Jacqueline

I would have liked to see the behemoth of a boiler the owners put in to heat the whole place. I think it is wonderful they did that to save the books. Maybe we will have a re-visit to Deenes, i hope so!🤞🤞

Julie, did you ascertain why the ballroom was demolished? Was it an economic/maintenance decision? Seems a shame.
@paytonpryor2 жыл бұрын
In the video he stated it was before he took over the home. I was able to find their website and it said the ballroom wasn't part of the original house. It was added on. I believe he might have hinted that it felt out of place in the house. The website states it was "irregular."

Not confident keeping the thistle is a good idea. Where we live in the western US it is an invasive plant reaching 7' - 8' tall with a multi-stem base at least as wide. The thorns are terrible. I'm trying to rid my property of these weeds wanting to plant native grasses in the area instead.

I love all your videos! The history, the gardens, the attics are just wonderful. What a great revenue idea of the old riding school space to be used for markets, antique sales, flower shows etc. As Julie says, “Brilliant!” Thanks for all the hard work in sharing these great mansions. I greatly appreciate it. Mariaknits27 💃🏻💕
