The funny thing is that both Tenko and Shigaraki liked helping people who were rejected. Tenko played with the kids who nobody wanted to play with while Shiggy has the League, made of people who Hero Society rejected

I love how every villain gets more backstory, development, and power in this arc and then when it comes to Spinner it's just "he can stick to walls and is a gamer"

That’s the anime version’s fault. In the manga, he got a character moment near the beginning of the arc that was removed until it got used for a flashback in season 6. Also, he was kind of narrating the arc in that version

Spinner gets a bit more likeable in season 6 and has some decent dialogue but I still think he's the most boring, not to mention the weakest member of the league by far.

It's so dark but also so poetic, that Tenko's family died in the way they last acted towards him: His sister turning his back on him once it get's ugly, his mom trying to comfort but never reaching him, his grandparents just watching from the side and his father rejecting and beating him to compensate for his own failure.

Honestly, the last scene from this episode is probably my favorite in the whole show, tied with Deku vs Muscular. It did such a good job of portraying the horror and tragedy of the situation, with Tenko going from a terrified child not knowing what was going on, to an enraged murderer giving into his most violent instincts.

Kotaro was abandoned by his hero mother Nana at a young age which caused him to hate heroes. He knows his mother loved him, yet to him it would be better if she didn't love him.

The anime has censorship, here they did the best they could, that's why the bodies with blood right after we see them turn to dust. In the manga, Tenko's quirk was still developing, so instead of turning to dust, what happens is the bodies are mutilated, torn apart.

Nah personality and psyche are related to quirks Which makes sense why the evil brother manifested all for one, the ability to take the quirks of others While the kind and selfless brother who wanted to help people was born with one for all, the ability to give his perk to someone else

There are many more examples Iida: Machine-like quirk and robotic aspects (intelligent, rule following, gestures) Uraraka: Floating quirk Airheaded/Bubbly personality Kaminari: Energy related quirk and Energetic personality Tokoyami: Dark quirk and dark personality Kirishima: Tough/Tolerant quirk and personality Mina: Reactive quirk and Hyper/Excited personality Ojiro: Normal quirk normal personality Jiro: Sound quirk interest in music Sato: Food quirk interest in cooking It is very clear that in mha, that Endeavor = bad temper, serious , fire quirk Todoroki = cool personality but can get serious half cold half hot ------ Shigaraki is most likely the way he is because he is naturally inclined to destroy things, and when he uses his quirk the itching stops

@@xblade11230 literally a theme of the show is that quirks don't define who you are. Shinso has a brainwashing quirk but doesn't want to control others or be a villain, he has a heroic personality. Are you saying things that are actually established in the show or just your own headcanon? Because a bunch of your quirk/personality comparisons are pretty big stretches. Jiro liking music could be because both her parents are musicians and have nothing to do with her quirk.

Shinso has a manipulative personality and is good at playing mind games and outsmarting people Quirks are linked to personality traits and interests You could have a destructive personality and a destructive quirk and still be a hero Eri wouldn't have the urge to destroy stuff which is what I am saying so she wouldn't turn out like shigaraki

If eri had the urge to destroy stuff she would probably manifest a quirk that only just destroys, she manifested a quirk that is primarily antiaging, and healing and rewinding people out of existence is a unintended usage. Just like Overhauls ability to heal people is an unintended usage or one for all being able to heal people by using a stolen perk

Kotaro was abandoned to the foster system at 5 years old without any reason except his mother doing hero work. It makes entire sense why he grew up angry at heroes and not wanting Shigaraki to do the same. Kota was the same until Midoriya helped him.

Probably been pointed out already, but the anime censored the more brutal/gory scenes. For example, Re-Destro crushes Shigaraki's hand this episode, whereas in the manga he actually _RIPS OUT_ his fingers instead (hence why you see Tomura activate his quirk with just two fingers). Also, the family members didn't originally turn to stone upon their demise in that flashback.... yeah. 😞

This episode is traumatic, I started caring for Tenko in the 2nd season especially after his conversation with Izuku in the mall I was glad he chose not to hurt Izuku and he seemed very sad and tragic it was clear that AFO was exploiting him then that was confirmed in the 3rd season so I really hoped he could be saved and I was desperate for him to be caught so his crimes could stop and he could be rehabilitated then that didn't work😶Then this episode happened and it broke my soul😭poor baby Tenko😭 the whole situation is so messed up it's unbelieveable. Tenko is the only one I care for in the League honestly, well cared for season 6 made me give up on my delusional hopes of him being saved real fast and made me despise the rest of the League even more they've all done too much they need to go to hell asap including Tenko who I cried for for so long, I've always hated their "we'll destroy everything" ideals like wtf do you mean😑 they're sick ppl

Just my two-cents about facial scars, especially as a woman. I've grown up with two parallel scars on my face (one across my eyebrow and the other parallel and below on my cheek) from falling through a tree that I climbed as a kid. Some people stare, others call it badass, and others show sympathy. I prefer for people not to see them at all and just treat me like someone who has a "normal" face. If I bring up my scars, that's on me, even if it was for a stupid accident as a kid.

The hands arent actually those of his family. Im pretty for theyre just artificial hands instead of real hands. AFO gave them to him to kind of, motivate him I think? Or maybe to kind of control him in a way.
