Sadly you can’t name two mons the same thing, or even the name of a different Pokémon species, but you could have a whole team where they’re all named Gastrodon but spelled wrong differently. You can also name a Togedemaru “Pikachu-Galar” as long as you use a dash instead of a hyphen, or name each member of your team a misspelling of the species of a different member of your team. Uh, hypothetically speaking.

Hi Jaiden! I don't know if you're a fan of fan-made pokemon games, but if you are willing to check one out I've been enjoying Pokemon Reborn - it's also about to get it's final update to add the end game stuff. Has a gym for each individual typing, has lots of event encounters, and has a full roster of custom shinies! With a 1/100 chance! It also lets you pick your starter from all of the starter pokemon up to the Alolan ones. Oh, and pokemon can just have their hidden abilities sometimes. So you have a 1/100 chance of being able to start with a custom shiny speed boost Torchic. I know you didn't ask for suggestions or anything, I just like the game and feel like not enough people seem to know about it.

If you want to do more nuzlocks i would suggest a slight rule change to make it easier. Instead of releasing the pokemon when they faint put them on a cooldown before you can use them again for x amount of streams. Remember its your nuzlock you can adjust the rules to make it easier, harder or more fun for you the one actually playing the game.
