Same, as soon as I noticed the editing and video length, I went "Oh, this is the WHOLE game, isn't it?" XD Kinda wanna see the whole thing, like her reaction to the DUET part, kinda wanted to see her cry on stream. XD I had watched Omori played by Merg like twice (both Sunny and Omori routes) before playing the game myself. I decided to play the Omori route first, since I wanted to end the game with the true/happy ending. Ended up putting 50+ hours into the Omori route (on the Switch, with the extra content). Getting all the secrets, endings and achievements available. Then I did the Sunny route, got all the achievements, all the secrets, endings (bad and "neutral" endings first), and then finally fought Omori and chose to continue (after resisting enough turns to see the shadows of the headspace friends hanging behind Omori), watching the montage and listening to DUET... and then I cried. I don't normally cry at like sad movies or sad games or sad moments in general, but Omori is probably the only game that has managed to make me cry. Even though I had already seen this whole game and the scenes twice and knew everything that was gonna happen... I still cried. I didn't cry when I watched Merg play it, but doing it myself... I guess putting like 70+ hours into the game just made me really attached to these characters. Or maybe it was because I did the Omori route first, the shut-in route, and then the route where he comes out and braves the world again, only to be reminded of the sad times again, and the lost happy times... Omori is such a tear-wrencher... if that's how it's called. I love it. And as for movies, The Fox and the Hound is the only movie that can make me cry. Every. Time. I just can't with the scene where the widow puts Todd into the forest, so they're both all alone, she cries, he's no longer friends with Copper, and he's now also homeless. Gets me every time. Actually, wait, I remember something else that made me cry. One of the episodes in South Park, where Stan's parents get a divorce and they move apart, and he gets depressed and sees everything as shit, for some reason that episode really got me and made me cry. I guess I don't cry so much at death as I do at abandonment, lost childhoods and major changes to your life, like divorcing parents and moving to a new home.

I'd say it's the second worst ending. THE worst ending is when you go to sleep in Basil's house, you and the others wake up to find Basil having committed suicide in his room, and then Sunny goes home and stabs himself in his sleep. Sunny's friends already were devastated and wondering what they had done wrong about Basil, not to mention Hero blaming himself for Mari's death in some way. Having Sunny kill himself too... I can't imagine the trauma the three remaining friends must go through here. It might just be too much for them. The friends already lost Mari a few years ago, and now not only have they lost Basil too, even Sunny is gone now. All to suicide. The "bad ending" is maybe the third worst ending, because while Sunny does jump off the hospital roof, at least Basil is still alive... but damn.

Jaiden playing Omori was hands down my favorite part of the subathon. I noticed Omori on Steam a few times well before the subathon and it caught my interest, but I only kept it in the back of my mind. After Jaiden beat Omori, I had "shut up and take my money!" vibes and bought the game. I played Omori the following April, got all the achievements within 3 weeks, and I feel like Omori transformed a part of me. I think anyone who can handle the sensitive topics in Omori can learn some important life lessons from the game. Omori is now my favorite game of all time after Magaman X 4 held that spot since childhood. Thank you Jaiden for this excellent streaming experience. I wonder if you've seen all the side content? If you know how to access the side content, there's a lot of interesting stuff.

@@amaice when replaying the game, I noticed that the closet door you don't see until the end actually does appear during the game sometimes like during the night and stuff. most of the time, when you check the door, sunny just shakes his head. idk if it's a chance thing or only at a certain day, but you can get jumpscared by checking it. honestly I feel like that one was the worst jumpscare for me because I wasn't expecting it - I mean I've checked that door many times before and all that happened was he shook his head, so when something different happened it really shook me. same with the mirror one, but I purposefully sought that one out after hearing about it so I was still expecting it sort of

dont feel bad. i have the game and because im highly inattentive i really just couldnt finish it. its like 20 hours long... one day i decided i wasnt gonna wait any longer and just looked up the ending. honestly? i would never have been this interested in the game if i didnt.
