This reaction actually made me realize - ofc that line is the best descriptor - but also - Obito is trying to escape what he believes is a level of hell (given he kinda thought Madara was Death, it aligns but might not be true). Like what if naruto saw Sauske kill Sakura after naruto somehow avoided death and told Sauske to give his life to protecting her. On top of their reaction making me realize - Itachi *only* did it - because it was the best way to provide the best life for Sauske, to save him. I've started to look at it as "what would you do for your brother?" - what would you do for your clan? for your village? - what would you do to break the dichotomy forcing you to choose in between innocent lives? -- each one being a character's sacrifice. Itachi for brother/village. Naruto to break the dichotomy and for a whole new system of questions - Pain to break the major countries - military industrial complex replacement. Sauske for the clan at first. Rin for the village/peace. Danzo for village. Kabuto to find identity/ who he was (but being manipulated? and having bros who wanted him home). Just a perspective

Now that I think about it, what would have happened if Naruto wasn't on time to save Sakura when Sasuke tried to kill her? Would he have gone after Sasuke to avenge her? Or would he have forgiven him? Sure Sasuke was his best friend but Sakura had become too close by that time too and I feel like Sasuke killing Sakura would have caused Naruto to snap and even sprout tails. Sasuke was too tired fighting all day, a snapped Naruto would have been able to slaughter him pretty easily.

Yeah about 8months aho when I watched Naruto I saw a video some sort of edit and this was the exact comments with 16-18k likes and I liked it too much and ever since I related every trio that way like nagato was an image of sasuke yahiko like naruto, jiraiya like Naruto orouchimaru was like sasuke then kakashi was like sasuke and obito was just like Naruto but paths changed and roles too for obito which means the characters who mainly influenced the show were in the composition of team 7 but the only successful team 7 was of naruto's.🖤

Since Chidori is a technique developed by Kakashi then much later fine tuned advanced by Kakashi after getting Obito's Sharingan to develop Raikiri. Raikiri is an advanced variation of Chidori, It requires just 3 hand seals to activate rather than 9 hand seals required by Chidori...So Kakashi actually uses Chidori on Rin as opposed to Raikiri.

Also, non-uchihas have trouble controlling the sharingan's chakra consumption (e.g Kakashi and Danzo) and most would not even utilize it correctly. Danzo using Hashirama cells and having the battle experience and Kakashi being a prodigy makes them both outliers. Nagato was chosen due to being an Uzumaki - incredible chakra reserves due to being direct descendants of you know who.

Only an uchiha has the kekkei genkai to activate "eyes that reflect the heart", and turn it mangekyou. no matter how far away he would be, him seeing it through kakashi's eye and then realizing what he saw actually happened would activate both mangekyou

The creepiest and saddest awakening of the most OP Mangekyo ever. Obito's worst mistake was think he had a second chance at life only to realize he already fell in hell. He had so much hope that he could be together with his team again that everything turned into a pool of madness, pain and despair. Obito realized there exist something wicked and corrupted beyond what he believed. His goal to reach the Infinite Tsukuyomi was to erase the flaws of the shinobi world because it was part of a chain of hatred and pain. The way wood-style surrounds the Mist nin bodies and the moon turning red was symbolising the Kamui and Moon Eye Plan Such a wonderful and dark episode 👏👏🔥🔥

Basically Madara _chose_ Obito as his successor to become the next "Madara", because first and foremost he needed an Uchiha, but he also saw lots of hidden potential that he could manipulate. The ability to use wood style that Zetsu observed in Obito might've just been mentioned as further proof of his strength. Its kind of unclear what would've happened otherwise, maybe he would've tried to manipulate Obito at a later time, or any other Uchiha kid that wandered too close to the hideout and then use the Zetsus to kidnap and brainwash them or something.

I'm pretty sure that this was already said so this isnt spoilers... the guy from the hidden mist with the eye patch byakugan, was the one who figured out that the kage of the mist was under a multiple years long genjutsu, that drove him to give the hidden mist village the reputation as the blood mist village, the same one that zabuza mentions his schooling in and the final exam, which was killing everyone else, and kisame even said “so you were the one controlling the kage” when obito showed him his face and apologized that kisame was the last to know. Also there was a episode that is considered filler (for some reason) that shows that they were trying to use rin like a bomb, by putting one of the tailed beasts in her and letting her go back so she can be forced to release it in the middle of the hidden leaf.

i mean,is not that he is doing this because the girl he loves died. He is doing because he lost faith in the world he belived in ( you can see he is a very naruto kind of guy ) and now is trying to achiev a world where everyone will be at peace inside a perfect dream. I mean in the next episodes the way he views the world will be very well explored and ya all will understand. @@Joker-lx6zc a perfect world for Obito is not a perfect world without Rin being alive that just shows that the only thing that he cared about it was Rin. You are just making things out. It's simple Uchihas have strong love that make them crazy. If Obito at that time had two options between Rin not being death and world peace for sure he would choose the first option. And obviously he didn't use the Rinnegan to revive her because that would kill him making all pointless he wants Rin to be alive to spend time with her alive not to be a freaking corpse.

@@marcroy2895yes Rin’s death is relevant cus she became his first his catalyst and he started listing to what Madara say, but Obito regards Rin as an imposter cus she only mattered when she was alive. Obito disregards her memories by destroying what Rin died to protect, he literally spits it. Obito would never revive her in this reality cus it’s completely pointless, the world would still be cruel, and it wouldn’t solve the main problem which is shinobi. To say it’s all for Rin is as simple as saying Nagato did it all for Yahiko and his parents.

@@sachamarzullo Obito attacked Konoha when he was about 14, about a year after "dying". Itachi was 5 during the 9 Tails attack. Or else, look at it this way: Itachi died when he was 21, and Sasuke was barely 17 (4-5 year difference). Sasuke was a few months old the day Naruto was born. Meaning Itachi was at most 5 years old during the attack, and at most 4 years old when Madara found Obito.
