It’s a sandbox. If you want it to be, it can be exactly like the “old days”. But you can also use everything that’s been added since. It’s more likely that you miss how you felt during that time, whether it’s because of the discovery that you now can’t do because you know everything, or because you’ve changed as a person and the game doesn’t feel like it used to.

I personally think Scrap Mechanic would be the best game ever if only it had a multiplayer mode. Imagine playing on servers like in Minecraft but with the possibilities of Scrap Mechanic, it would be awsome. But that's just a personal opinion.

It’s very fun. If you ever play the survival try it with the Fant Mod. Adds a bunch of things like planes and helicopter parts and steam engines. It’s pretty fun

But somehow (atleast with me) survival has taken away my ability to be more creative in the game and it seems less colourful but maybe it's just because I'm growing up.
