Fear and Hunger was made with RPGmaker. People need to let go of that criticism. The engine is not the issue, the people who use it to lazily shit out garbage games are. That said I don't care for RPGmaker. I prefer Unity and Godot. Though Unity is sketchy these days. The hooplah a month or so back made me abandon the platform. Yeah they walked their policy changes back, but its only a matter of time before they do something like that again imo. This game looks interesting so I'll try the demo.

Sounds like there are a lot of issues. Story is great but if it's a pain in the butt to get there may not be worth. I'll wait for more reviews of full game.

Yeah I looked around and didn't see it listed for any consoles.

It's VERY challenging to bring an RPGMaker 2003 game to consoles. Not impossible! But beyond our means at this time. Fingers crossed the game performs well, and we can explore bringing it to consoles after :)

@@2leftthumbs I'd be more interested in it as a phone game there aren't enough NON-gatcha RPG games on the phone to enjoy is that a possibility

@@ooostarwolfooo4527 Unfortunately it'd likely be just as difficult as consoles. The engine simply doesn't support console/mobile export options. It'd require effectively rebuilding the entire game in a new engine

Looks like a neat game, but I kinda wish companies used old school beta testing for these issues. A lot of this I feel like could have been ironed out, by even just having a few close friends of the devs team try it out, and feel open to make complaint. Lot of this was fixable.

I think it's worth noting that the "company" behind the game is 2 people. And the game has been (and continues to be) very heavily playtested. There's only so much a small team can do, but day-by-day the game is taking huge strides forward!
