But i got lot of rude stares and inappropriate personal question about skin color and my hair from the locals. One time a group of teenagers just shouted 'blacky' and followed by the N word on the street and they laughed and ran away. Expats who live there have also expressed the same issue especially when it comes to renting, homeowners will not rent to people who are basically not from a western country or local Thai. You get charged extra if you are foreigner in certain tourist locations and it's even supported by the government.

@@BearOverseer She’s a legit Thai ladyboy. We’ve been together for 19 years and legally married in California for 9. I’m a bi cis guy. She’s a straight (only attracted to guys) trans woman. We can’t legally marry in Thailand as it’s against the law. Nor can she change her legal gender in Thailand. She is legally female in the US. My father disowned me over my relationship with her and we never spoke again. Then he died 10 years later. My mom came around after dad died and decided that LGBT people weren’t so bad after all. Heh. I do IT for a living. She’s a manager at a restaurant. We live in California now but visit Thailand often and when Thailand sorts out it’s LGBT laws there we’ll retire there in an decade or so. There is a lot of subtext lost in translation here. In Thai saying that you’re a ladyboy is really just saying that you’re a trans woman. The reality is that there are few differences between Thai trans women and American trans women. The level of social hostility against trans people in the US is far higher than it is in Thailand. As in all things, what goes around comes around. Many of these Thai Ladyboys are so beautiful because they start taking hormones in adolescence. If states were making that illegal in Thailand you’d see a lot of angry Thai Ladyboys as well. It’s literally denying them the ability to be as beautiful later in life. My wife is a Thai trans woman. All the transsexuals I have been with are super awesome, I recently just told myself that I am switching to transsexuals because I was getting tired of women's immature ways and their sometime fits of anger, but I am always open to real women, I just need to find a mature, intelligent and conscious girl for me to settle with one these days at the age of 29, now that I am getting older and more mature and figuring things out in life that I never knew before. I am literally on a castle and love myself to death so I don't need to fill any voids inside myself, I am picking and choosing these days and not the other way around, I am not in any rush but definitely optimistic about finding the right partner in life
