You're awesome. Please don't take this the wrong way....but I always got a vibe that you weren't right to permanently live in Japan. I could tell you were stressed at times and felt obligated to do certain things because of social media influences. This video really made me happy. I live in a deadbeat city with no job opportunities. I have a bachelors degree and work as a waitress. I know I need to make changes to my life, and I slowly have been. This video was inspiring because I know if other people can push themselves forward, I can too. Much love

Hi Taylor, I started my year long exchange in Germany last month and I love the quote: “Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that really isn’t you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.” Thank you for sharing it because I noticed that my personality and life goals are changing too and at first I was scared because change can scare me but this quote made me realize that I’m changing for the better. I’m becoming more outgoing and have a strong eagerness to chase after my dreams of travel. Looking forward to new chapters with you. (Also my grammar might be a bit off, German grammar is hard and is making my English worse😂)

Hi Taylor 🐶 I admit that I started following you (2 years ago) because I randomly saw on you tube a 'Bedroom Tour' with a girl dressed up as a doll. At that time I really loved kawaii stuff like that so I decided to watch all your videos of Japan, Akihabara and so on... When you first changed your style I was a bit upset, but when I thought about it you being dressed up like a doll was something that pleased ME and not YOU. That was the time I understood I wanted to follow you for your personality, sense of humor and jokes, your sensitivity. You shared your life with us, you took us in your world and I think thi is something amazing! Okay, I can't deny that I'm a bit sad that you leave Japan (because I still love it) but this is your life and we have to be conscious of your choices. Now you got it girl, go ahead and never look behind, walk through your OWN path and make your dreams come true! We will always be with you and support you! 🌠

The end almost made me cry! Of course we'll stick with you Taylor, no question about it! It's funny cause I first found you when you were doing those doll-like videos and I was like "what the hell is this". This is coming from someone who's never been interested in Japan or "Lolita fashion" at all. More like the opposite. But when you started vlogging I really just "fell" for your personality. You're so bubbly, creative and funny! Sticking with you just because your living in Japan has never been the reason for me, I'm sticking by you because of YOU! I'm so happy for you and you're such an inspiration. Can't wait to come with you on this next adventure.

I subscribed to you because you lived in Japan but also because you're inspirational and funny and your bf is from Hong Kong and you're Canadian, the list goes on. I started watching anime and loved the Japanese culture and loved the nature scenes so much that I wanted to go there and learn the language. So last year I had a Japanese class but this year I don't have it anymore and I thought that I will be better off not learning it now and focus on my studies and college application process and continue Japanese maybe later on in my life. Watching your videos is the only way I "connected" with the Japanese culture but seeing you leaving Japan, I thought maybe it is meant that we should move on. In fact, I am super excited to see Hong Kong vlogs because my parents are from Hong Kong and I never been there and wants to visit there. You are right about how there are so little vloggers at HK. Don't worry, I will still support you by watching your vlogs and staying subscribed to you.

I quickly realised that I actually watch your videos because I really like YOU and who you are as a person, and I enjoy seeing you grow and change. That what you said about feeling not being able to grow and being stuck somewhere is exactly how I feel about living in Finland, my home country. I also love my family and friends there and it still feels like home but I always find myself wanting to go back to Japan. I studied in Japan for one year 4-5 years ago and fell in love with the place. Now that I am back here - have been here for a month - I feel a lot more happy and I realise this is the place I want to be and grow. I totally get you and there is nothing wrong with feeling like that. :)

Moving is always really hard, moving within the same country is too. It's stressful and doesn't make you feel stable. Good on you for knowing where you want to be and go in life. That's always a tough one to figure out. Looking forward to seeing Hong Kong!

I originally subscribed to you because of your crazy fashion videos. You living in Japan and occasionally exploring Japanese culture was only an added bonus. But since I've lived there myself it didn't matter much. I'm very excited to see what you will come up with in Hong Kong. Best of luck to you.

I am so excited for you, your boyfriend, and Rosie. I really really enjoyed your previous Hong Kong videos and was pleasantly surprised to be really interested in what you were showing us. Looking forward to the new videos and all the adventures to come.

As long as the vlogger is interesting it doesn’t matter where they go 😊 You’re the reason we watch your videos, not because of where you are. I hope get a great house in HK💕

I'm sad this will be the end of Shaylor sleepovers but I'm happy you're moving on with your life & I'm so proud/honored to have subscribed to your channel when I came looking for apartments in Japan. Your apartment tour led me to you but I am very thankful to have followed along with you through your journey in life. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your life wherever it shall be in Japan, Hong Kong, Canada or anywhere else you choose to live. I wish you, Elbow San & Rosie the best of luck on your ongoing journey ♡

I'm not following you for Japan, I'm following for foreign countries, your incredible personality and sense of humor, your talent and your way of editing videos I got tired of Neistat's vlogs but yours never fail to make me feel good ❤

I don’t normally comment but here I go. I never knew the reason why I subscribed to your channel, wasn’t vegan, trying to stay healthy, or interested in Japan. But when I watched this video I realized I was watching it for you. Your happy side, sad side, funny side and stupid; that’s why I am here to watch and follow your never ending journey(wow that sounded cheesy)
