Sorry, I know it's Seattle and all that Grunge/Alternative stuff, but this is not meant to be an electric, over-driven, distorted guitar tune (other than the combination riff of the organ and fuzz guitar part at the end of each verse). The song is predominantly an acoustic guitar dominated number punctuated by a distinctive electric riff in parts. The unison singing on the bridge is also kind of lame-- kind of "let's get blasted and drunk in the bar and sing-a-long with the band." Where's the subtle harmony?

Ahhh the ever present purist dickhead always ready for criticism. It's a cover dude, their interpretation of the song, not a tribute band trying to sound exactly like the original recording. If course is not the same, tempo is not the sane, cadence is not the same, vocal harmonies are not the same but is still a great cover and that's what it is, a cover, not an impersonation. Comments like yours are typical of frustrated musicians if you happen to be one with I doubt. Get a grip, better yet, get a life.
