I had that problem once went for a dearer pipe made in Australia not Chinese ended up with like 10 joins and more happen pull it's all put whole New pipe in half the price from China and no more problem. When in a Drought you don't want to keep replacing broken pipe and water not where you want it

I can see a 27 tonne solution to all this shovel work 🤣. The plastic repair guy that used to be in Sheffield told us once he used to repair a lot of hard hose irrigator pipe. Just pin pricks mainly but its just so mass produced that the quality controlled sucked. Working in structural engineering I could tell you stories about red tape that would make you laugh or cry, possibly both at the same time 🤣. To few people with little to no knowledge but all the certifying power. Worst still no ability to apply a reasonable judgement (common sense) and to then take responsibility for it.

Well said mate!

Keep your head up mate. Farming is hard business at the best of times, always made harder by the box ticking exercises. Great effort on the videos and editing, the quality you are putting out will definitely lead to more viewership & engagement over time!

Thanks mate, really appreciate the kind words! Definitely not giving up yet!

I had a tree fall on my garage in the High country on the 2 of January this year and I'm' still waiting to get approval to rebuild it.

Gez sorry to hear that. That's absolutely ridiculous!

Pallet fork damage, have had it before lots. The second split you showed looked a lot like it and how far apart those splits were

Guessing the pipe is rated to take the amount of pressure its under? Iv had an issue like that before, after finding a few length way splits, my determination was the someone had jammed a set of forks throughout the coil, sometime in shipping. Highly frustrating, especially when its, 50mm pipe and buried 750mm to 900mm deep.

Yeh pressure is fine. It was the second roll of a length that had 5 rolls laid which made us think it had to be a faulty pipe but I’d never though about the possibility of handling issue! I totally feel your pain for something buried that deep!!!

Hello my friend. That's crazy, I thought you had less bureaucracy and it was easier to farm in Australia. Here in Germany there are also 10 to 15 percent additional costs for all the permit waste. you want to do something and you can't make any progress. It took me 2 years to get my building permit for the stable.greetings

Oh wow 2 years!!! Maybe I’m being a little dramatic then… I think farming in Australia would be easier by the sound of all that!

A friend of mine also farms in Tasmania and he says things are easier there😂

Bureaucrats justifying their existence really hinders progress. 😡(Edited post to protect the innocent 😇) I built and maintained pools for more than a decade. Never saw poly pipe just arbitrarily crack like that. Does seem to be some kind of defect. I hope the supplier can step up and help you out somehow.
@JoshsFarmingMoments2 ай бұрын
Hinders progress 💯 Yes Bob the supplier came back to us with another roll of poly. I’ve never had it happen before and it probably won’t happen again now 🤞🤞🤞

@@JoshsFarmingMoments nice to hear they supplied another roll. Now if they’ll just come out and help with all the labour to replace it 😂😂😂

It may not be the brand thats the problem, it might have happened during transporting or laying, you simply have no idea
