This song resonates with me as a man. It highlights the fact that sometimes good men have to do bad things, and accept the fact that sometimes you have to pay the price for doing what you think is right.

That's really sad then, that county girls are taught that they can't take care of themselves, ultimately they need a man to handle the really tough things in life. Weird, cause I know some country girls that would NOT put with being told "wait in the truck".

Im not so much a country music fan, but the story and the cause and the nobel gesture, that a man gave up his life for a belief so strong that another human being wouldn't have to suffer renews my faith in the human spirit. In my opinion, this could be the best song ever written by a human being. And those 2 preform it so well. Just a moving song. Good job Hardy and Ms Wilson. Im impressed. It touched me. And isn't that what music is all about?

I enjoyed your reaction to this video. As a survivor of domestic violence I can say that yes most of us survivors cried while listening to & watching this video. It happens way too often not just men abusing women which you hear a lot but women abusing men, especially men that were taught never to put your hands on a woman. Sometimes it's hard to get out of that type of situation unlike what most say or think that we can just leave & it'll be fine. Unfortunately for some the men know where you would go or try to hide, if they really want to they WILL find you then it's worse than it was before. I pray for all of us survivors out there that were able to get out and are now safe, I also pray for the ones that weren't able to make it. There really should be more awareness to domestic violence for both sides so more people can or will be saved. Thank you for reacting to this video.

@@traceyvavrecan6714 I can most definitely attest to that, when I was ready to take my kids to leave he hit me which my 13 yr old daughter saw in which she defended me but on the downside he started to strangle her so as I was trying to calm my 3 mth old son down while getting my ex to get his hands off of my daughter, I finally did then she grabbed a rock & proceeded to hit him on the side of the head before we called the cops & he was arrested, needless to say we got out that same day. He was arrested a couple mths later for killing a 60 yr old man & burying him in concrete under the deck he built of the house we lived with him in. It scares me to think that if I hadn't gotten out when I did that would've been us.

She had been in that court room in the past, the Judge was looking at her until she said, "I never knew my day of justice would come from a Judge under a seat." the Judge in the court room looked away. I worked the streets as a LEO a few years and did many years with DOC (retiring 8yrs ago) now that I am not confined & restrained by a badge I can choose to see things a tad differently than the rule of law and the system dictate. When the system, when society fails to protect those weakest among us it is left to rough men standing outside the rule of law to do what is necessary to preserve the peace, protect the innocent, and return civility. Some times otherwise peaceful men must choose to be meaner than evil, they must do things that will haunt their dreams for the rest of their lives. Some call this "vigilante justice" but for some the vigilante is the only hope to obtain justice.

Thank you so much for your reaction. I'm a DV survivor and this song hits really hard for all of us who lived it. 💔 But the guy obviously has PTSD from witnessing abuse of a lady he loved most likely his mom when he was little boy and unable to defend her or himself. When he saw lady and her injuries, she was his trigger and he said NO MORE! WAIT IN THE TRUCK. My father was very elderly (in his 80s), when I was abused. He was also a very good shot as he was hunter his entire life. I didn't tell him what my ex was doing to me or I'd have been waiting in the truck. I didn't want to destroy his last years defending me. But God stepped in and got me and my son out so it's all good. I met my angel awhile later and we have been married 20 years. I appreciate Hardy writing this song 🎵🙏❤ to bring awareness to the ever growing problem of domestic violence. Thank you Twon for your awesome reaction! May God bless and keep you. 🙏

I know how super relieving it is to see him go and get that guy but it seems a lot of people don't seem to realize that this isn't how it works in the real world. Vilgilante justice is not legal. It wouldn't just be him in jail, she would be in jail as well for being an accomplice. He didn't do what he had to do. What he did was wrong. But I do understand the sense of relief that people get seeing this dude get what was coming to him.

While to many he may have made a bad decision, to some that have had a wife, sister, mother or daughter abused there is a different mindset. Far to often when someone is arrested and then released the abuse gets worse and at times ends up with a death of the victim. Also, her day of justice from a Judge under the seat is a reference to a Taurus revolver that fires both .410 shotgun shells and .45 Colt rounds. Great nightstand home defense weapon for a woman.

If you like strong messages & you haven't already reacted, you need to react to Chris Stapleton's "Fire Away". It must be the official video. Bring your tissues. Good reaction to Wait in the Truck & also Tennessee Whiskey previously.
