It’s pronounced ( L Cah Hone ) which means the box in Spanish since it sits low like the valley that it is and becomes one of the hottest towns in the San Diego area.

All the rooms are a good size. Love the shelves in the island - perfect spot to put cookbooks. And OMG - the water heater is accessed from outside! If it won't fit in the utility room, this is the perfect way to not take up precious closet space.

I really love this home! That dining room is amazing! The house is not huge, but even has what I’d use as a pantry! The sliding doors of the closets are nice also! It might be, as you said, a smaller house for a family, but it’s also a really nice place for a retired couple, too! I like the recessed area in the 14:18 14:21 master bath to put shampoo, etc! This house is light and bright!

For all the homes I see, I would exchange the water tank for a Tankless Instant Hot Water System. I would upgrade flooring to include radiant heat. 😊😊❤❤

Lovely home! The only thing I’d change is - get the carpet out of the bedrooms and stick with the same beautiful flooring throughout. But , ya, lovely home. This one is a winner winner chicken dinner! 🥰

My neck of the woods. I live in Santee next door. It is pronounced El Ka hown. The j is an h sound. They didn't have this model when we were looking. We bought from Clayton. Set up fee for this was better than ours. I can say if anyone needs set up in so cal DO NOT use AMP as your contractor. They sucked so bad and did lack luster work. The builder actually came out and fixed their shotty work. Thanks for coming to San Diego. The house is really nice.

The “J” is pronounced as an “H”, so it’s pronounced as El Cahone. Great exterior with a lot charm. As usual, most of these newer homes are more open than I prefer, but this one did have a cozy dining nook. I actually like the master bathroom with its more simple style of shower because I don’t need a car wash 🤣. Also, the medicine cabinets are always a nice addition. The only thing I’d change would be the vanilla colors of white and gray. I prefer not to have so much white. Besides being bland, it’s harder to keep looking clean. Btw, where was the water heater hidden? Hopefully, not in a closet. I prefer it to also be in the utility room~ Thanks Chance 😊

First of all I would like to say that this is a very nice little house and it has a traditional house look to it by it being longer versus being wider like most manufactured homes. It is a smaller home, but it would be nice for a smaller family, perhaps of four total. It has a nice little design to it and the way the hallway kind of veers off to the left by having that zigzag design in it that's pretty neat architectural design. I like the shower with that glass rolling door. Also, the tiles on the wall I really like as well because they resemble marble. I like the trey ceiling in different areas of the house. The price is a little bit much to me in my personal opinion but all the same you couldn't build the house for that same exact price.

If live where it gets snow, ice and cold, MUST wrap geating tape around pupes and have heating cord to plug in to prevent frozen, busted pipes. Bathtubs also tend to leak out the bottom.

I really like this house a lot I think the only thing I would change correction the only two things I would change is first the bedroom windows and the master bedroom I'm not real crazy how they're stuck in the corner I would change those and put those two on the bigger wall so you can put your bed in the middle of them. And then I think I would have my closet extended where the toilet is and then put the toilet where the shower and the sink is and cut that sink down to fit the toilet in between the two but other than that I really liked it a lot

Definitely designed for the majority of the parks out here with the narrow front profile since most lots are narrow and deep out here just like the site built homes FYI Chance you’re trying to say El Cajon in English but it’s Spanish it’s just a common southwest thing you learn living out here I’m sure plenty of people in the comments have already commented it’s pronounced “ L - Ka-Hone” 🤙

*The J makes an H sound. * At first glances, it looks like an old Victorian era inspired home. Growing up on Galveston Island, Texas, my grandmother owned a 1894 Victorian home. This couldn't be my forever home, but it is nice to see a different setup and look to the front for once.

I like that dining area as it givesd off an old fashioned vibe. That island has room for cookbooks! The drawer pulls have an old fashioned look to them. Not something you find in these homes. Looks like a pantry to me. I do like this house as it has some unique features.

We love your channel! And as San Diegans, you can bet we are going to go visit Ideal Homes, which is right in our backyard. And we also came to provide you with the way to say El Cajon...but looks like we were late to the party. If it makes you feel any better, we have lots of strange ways to say things here. A major street in El Cajon is Jamacha. You would think it would be pronounced "Ja -ma -sha"...but no. It is pronounced "Ham -ah -shaw". Go figure.

I do wish they’d furnished the bedrooms - they seem small. Better door than in the other California homes. Good job. Your yard looks like mine...but mine looks like that all winter. 😂

Love everything, but the placement of the utility room . If it's at the end of the house, you could place a carport there and not obstruct any of the windows. Important if you're older and you're bringing in groceries etc. in inclement weather.
