I came of age during the 1970s. There was a real possibility of a war with the Soviets, and I might've ended up dead in a ditch somewhere between Berlin and the North Sea. I was bitterly disappointed that I wasn't in the forces during the Falklands War. In those days the UK was still worth fighting for. Not any more.

For hundreds of years the British Army was built with young men from poor working class backgrounds & many thousands gave their lives. I would never fight for a country I no longer recognise! Millions of immigrants living here with a begging bowl would be gone at the first sign of war or conscription. Today, Al Carns, the veterans minister has said that the British Army would last less than 6 months on a modern battlefield.

My grandad was a sergeant major in ww2 landed on D day we used to speak about it alot. My grandad passed away in 2014 aged 92 i remember saying to him if you could go back and no what you no now would you fight again he said no. And think he didn't live to see the invasion whats going on daily in the channel and the government's putting illegal immigrants in hotels phones electric bikes money nhs dentist. And stoping people from speaking and taking winter fuel money of uk old people who have worked all there lifes. Uk cities unrecognisable. Being a Kiwi I do not know who a lot of the guys you interview, and also Terry Stone has a great 'Podcast as well with his guests never failing to give a riveting watch/listen and I have no idea who at least half of them are, albeit I know they will be some type of 'Face' for the mere fact they are on the show.
