Funny that this topic came up! We’ve been mortgage free since 2017. I’m 38 wife is 40. We just hit $1M in net worth and I resigned from my corporate job to take a few months off and pursue a different industry. Having a paid off house gave us peace of mind, accelerated our savings and allowed us to pivot. Love that you carry the flag for this lifestyle, Andy.

It’s worth to pay off mortgage We paid our $400,000 home mortgage Now next 25 years we don’t need to pay $1600 monthly instalment. We can use this money somewhere else :)
