If you want to use your degree as a child life specialist and try out a big city, getting a job at a big Children’s Hospital is the way to go. I did this a long time ago as a nurse and got the chance to live in California and Nashville

Come to the northeast, even upstate NY! You're super close to the cities and it's SO EASY to get there, yet you can also retreat to a smaller country town super easily. We may get chilly in winter but have the best of both worlds up here!

Praying you’ll find a church community where you feel welcomed and comfortable! 💕 so important as believers to be in community. It’s so good to be in a Bible study group as well, that’s where everyone can be honest and open with each other and build relationships. I’ve struggled with feeling unwelcome or judged in churches too and feeling as though people weren’t real, it’s really sad, we should be welcoming and loving each other!

If you want to try out a city, Austin or Dallas are good cities if you don’t want go to NYC or LA. You get the city feel and experience. With the southern politeness and charm but you don’t feel like you are in the south. Plus both Austin and Dallas are expensive but still have a fraction of the cost of living in other big cities.
