I really need to do spontaneous trips alone like this. It is so amazing the things you can find out, the people you can meet and how much more you can truly find yourself and how it puts you in such an amazing mood because you’re by yourself in this new place. All you really have is yourself and it’s honestly so amazing. These types of things help so much with being more outgoing and even finding yourself as well as self love. The cabin I stayed at last summer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan had a potluck every Wednesday. It was just an older couple who ran the six cozy cabins. The husband grew up going to camp there as a kid and they’re family later bought the camp group. The camp is about 6 miles out of town, so you truly feel one with nature. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I highly recommend visiting the UP if you’ve never been. The waterfalls, pictured rocks, and yoopers are all so amazing✨
