@@thisisframes such a great series you do! I really look forward to these talks and especially the individual, unprepared image discussions.

A really interesting conversation, Tomaz. Your comment that maybe a shared background enhanced your appreciation of Waldemar's work intrigued me. I don't think we place enough emphasis on the kind of person that is attracted to a specific piece of work. Our aim seems to be to grade works of art, especially photography, on some objective measure of its quality.

I enjoyed this interview very much. Mr. Brzezinski impressed me as an honorable man. I liked his statement that he is interested in persons. I like his photography. I hope to see more of it.

Very interesting video. It's always a pleasure to see people showing analogue photography. And the reasons Waldemar presents for prefering analogue they all make perfect sense to me too. I was about to quit photography because I was doing digital and I lost all interest in what I was doing. And then I saw a black and white image in a magazine that called my attention. It was a photo taken by a film camera. "This is it", I said. I then began shooting only 35mm black and white, printing my photos, and the enthusiasm keeps growing.

Me too. I can't understand the fuss over film, they always end up turning it into digital anyway - he he. Like the iconic Steve McCurry - I was glad to see the back of it. Digital was so liberating. McCurry said on a Nat. Geo. assignment he would have to lug 250 rolls of film through the airport. He was always paranoid that something would happen to it. I shot 20 years on film and it was a pain. Modern, mirrorless FF cameras are beautiful and their images are truly gorgeous. The cost of one roll of 36 ex 35mm film here in Australia is $35. Then to get it processed, scanned and proofs, costs another $40. Seventy five bucks for 35 images - no thanks!
