What I learned from this video: 1. Don't wait for the "optimal" moment to Tera, because it might never come. If it gets you 1 turn ahead, it's done its job. 2. Almost any pokemon can be viable if you work it into a good team. 3. If you're playing against Wolfey, just use random shit because he's already 7 universes ahead of you. He can't predict random. 4. Dan drinks piss.

honestly that point #3 is a really good one universally when it comes to things that use your mind over body (cause obviously you cant beat someone in a physical sport just by being random), it comes into play alot with high level chess players if they end up playing a random cause all their strategies revolve around how to counter all the optimal moves but then if yoy do something completely seemingly pointless and random it scares them cause you cant use prior experience to judge someone who doesnt have any clue what theyre doing lmaoo, and if they dont know the opponent its even worse cause you have to assume that theyre just big braining you and not just pressing colorful buttons

I remember I once built a team around an Eelektross, just for fun, and it ended up winning my local club tournament for me. The team did become a Torkoal trick room team, but Torkoal really just ended up working backup alongside Garganacl the majority of the time. The club was so focused on the Armarouge and Torkoal set, nobody knew how to deal with Eelektross. I ended up sweeping the final fight with Eelektross on 1 hp, after my opponent forgot about Levitate and tried to take me out with a flashy Choice-scarfed Tera-ground earthquake Gyrados. Probably the most insane fight I've ever been a part of.
