That isn't that surprising. The game has little or no explanations or hints so unless a person is reading all the tiny print, why would they know one seed was better than another. I know that in my case with many games, I am trying to experience everything right away and pass up a lot of things. When I'm over the newness of a game, I take my time and examine everything very carefully.

I've been making tons of super ore in my run, I have a large storage of it made from respawning drops, watching him search for it almost killed me until he realized he could make it

Something important to remember going forward is that rocket bonuses stack. Unlocking everything will eventually take about 12 of each of the rockets to unlock in a reasonable amount of time. You'll also want to make the Biolab sooner rather than later.

@@Dylan-vi3uw Yes, because that's how much of a multiplier each rocket gives. But after you send up the second rocket of the same type, your heat/pressure/oxygen/biomass will have a 2000% multiplier. There's no in-game way to see how big the multiplier is, but you can see that the 'XX/s' numbers on the terraformation screen will increase.

After putting more than forty hours into this game, I had to chuckle when he mentioned "End Game". This game has a lot of promise but right now it overstays it's welcome. I've explored everything, done everything, now it's just a grind for the last unlock. Hopefully the developers keep working on it, because there is a lot of potential here.

My biggest gripe isn't the grindy nature of the end game. It's that once you can craft food the only real danger you have is being too greedy when collecting resources and running out of something due to stupidity. I'm not sure how to rectify this, maybe something like durability and having to repair items or some event that endangers you further. That'll prolly come later, though it looks like the previous occupants of the planet had a far harder time surviving

Drae, if you didn’t know the μ is basically a micro measurement so that is a microkelvin for μk, so that is temperature, kelvin is another temperature measurement other than Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Drae when you go to explore these new areas, I recommend you bring extra oxygen and materials to build a new room, they are very large. You likely won't make it back with just two bottles. Also when you go out to the falling sands area, look around the edges on the far side carefully, for there is more, a cave of medium interest but a cool entrance.

He uploads daily videos so I'm not sure if he can release longer videos. A 20 minute video being released every day is already super impressive! Considering the time that goes into editing, he probably already spends a large portion of his day making content. I don't really mind the runtime of his videos, I just wish he would release more episodes of certain games!

But that's because the game is intentionally designed as a super grind-fest that doesn't respect your time. Like, I'm sure he barely had to edit this video, eccept to cut out extended travel times which will improve as he get's better traversal tech

you should salvage the low tier heaters you made because they barely make a difference when compared to higher tiers and make a recycling station so u can recycle items into their basic components btw you won’t lose any resources this way

Drae walking into the room with all the message screens pinned to walls made me think he probably won't want to find whoever built it, if they're still alive that is....that person was stuck on a planet, completely isolated, for a long enough time to build an entire underground base, and made more than enough messages that tell me he lost any semblance of sanity long ago. I imagine somewhere in those messages will be ramblings of a madman, it's always cool yet creepy to find something like that in a game. I play a lot of Fallout and I've seen what loneliness in a wasteland does to people 😂 at least we get creatures from time to time to relieve the monotony, I can only imagine how it'd be to live on a desolate planet with no other goal than terraforming it and trying not to lose my sanity..honestly this kinda sounds like it could become an outer space version of Green Hell.

Drae, energy is global, when you find a solar panel in the wild, deconstruct it and then rebuild it right then and there to get that power and save your inventory. As well, build more micro bases. Build a simple room and door to get O2 wherever you go. It only uses ~5 Power.

Something I really like about this game is that it forces you to use as many of the tiered systems as it can, for instance you can't just expect to upgrade from one crafting machine and expect to be able to make EVERYTHING you could be on it, instead you can only make a handful of new items on it

Drae, you can turn your compound resources (Uranuim rods, Iridium rods and Super alloys etc.) back into their base resources with the recycler. You'll get all your resources back.

Turn the iridium and uranium into rods if u need more storage space, then use recycling machine to turn them back into the base materials when u need them

use the recycling machine to turn your uranium rods back into ore. I keep all my ore as rods or super alloy and run it through the recycling machine when I need the basics
