The last time I actually read a Warriors book, I was still trying to get a proper handle on my anxiety. (Now I have a proper handle on it, but I definitely still have bad days where I'm not fine at all.) I love how relatable you make your songs. Briarlights song and This song radiate the characters perfectly but also in a way that the listener can relate too. With Briarlight everyone feels that philosophical life moves on what should i do grief like Briarlight, this one can relate to how even being fine is not enough and the people around you just think your in a rut but your not okay. Alderpaw is an amazing character! He keeps falling down and keeps pushing, but at a certain point, everyone realizes he's not okay, and have him become a medicine cat. He works really hard to prove he's worth something even though (as mentioned in the song) a little voice in his head kept telling him he's so worthless that he was shoved out of warrior training for not being good enough.
