Not everyone wants to be miserable working 80-hour weeks to be in corporate management or investment banking just to maximize lifetime earnings. Most people do not enjoy their jobs, and many “career women” who prioritize career interests above all else significantly regret taking this path in life in their 30s as it dawns on them that they have a very limited period of time to have children and a family. It’s a wonder women are being pressured and cajoled into being selfish and joining many men in prioritizing their careers. Men needed better work-life balance. In response, we force women to pursue worse work-life balances in the dogged pursuit of higher income and more consumer goods for them and their cats in their empty mansions lol The point is that women can work full-time or be homemakers full-time if they so wish, and that is true progress. Same should apply to women. If a woman pursues a lucrative career to maximimize family income, then perhaps the man in the relationship could be a homemaker. Or both parents work, but the children will inevitably suffer if both parents doggedly pursue lucrative careers that require long hours. Not to say that two people with healthy work-life balances couldn’t pull it off, just that two people without healthy ones would likely diminish their kids’ full potentials.

It's actually so sad how these women are so misogynistic and just followed what men say about feminism. Feminism isn't about being 'antimen', it isn't rejecting femininity, it's getting the choice between being a traditional feminine woman OR a more masculine one. And I think the fact the two sides of this are one hating on women who are hyperfeminine while the other half are embracing this conservative traditional role speaks volume that no matter what type of woman you are, society will find a way to demonize it
