$50 is a bargain to obtain original vocals by a real person that isn't used by thousands of other artists, I know UK artists that have way more subscribers than I do that charge between £100-1000. As a producer/artist myself I'm more than happy to pay for peoples time, though most of the time, the artists I work with they are happy with 50% splits on the royalties as they have their own equipment.

also Its not about just hopping on a mic and recording as there's is more to it than raw vocals, and sometimes you can do your best but it might not fully fit, so youd have to rerecord and adjust it to fit accordingly, £10 basically covers the electricity in this economy too (Not quite but Im not far off) Edit: I like Kate, she seems very professional in that situation

I'm a man... always a man - I'm about to be made homeless in Brighton so pretty much everything I own needs to go. I have stacks of era 2010 laptops I've tried to donate to charity and they don't even want them. A whole bunch of rackmount servers that would punish your eleccy bill (cause they're old as fuck) - I can't get rid of the cunting things. It seemed like a genius idea at the time "those things are worth some money, and the business is shutting down - I'll take em..." I have now lugged 30 defunct laptops and 6 rackmount servers, from London to Brighton, to Swansea, to Brighton, to Worthing, back to Brighton... Everytime I try and bring them to the recycling centre they give it "Nah mate - that's commercial waste..." So I need to pay somebody hundreds of pounds, to take away stuff worth at least a few hundreds of pounds. I'm just going to see if I can charter a boat - sling it all into the sea. Self own.

I do voiceovers on 5rr, whenever i have a demanding enquiry, i check their country and ask their budget. It's always 5 usd. I block them. I only see 4 usd of that and that barely covers the energy costs. 5 usd might be a lot in bangladesh, indian9r pakistsn but it doesnt cut it for a western VO.
