I'm Not Like You - C1L3 [Viscerafest OST]

The third level of Chapter 1 is darker than the previous two and starts off a little quieter, so I wanted to change up the pace musically as well with a more dramatic song. The events that made Caroline who she is offered her no choice. Adapt, or die. We are shaped by the world around us, desperately trying to shape it in return.
Soundtrack for Viscerafest by Acid Man Games, an indie Retro styled FPS in the vein of classics like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, and more! You play as Caroline Fetter hunting down a warlock by the name of Cromune, with the goal of collecting his ransom. Coming early 2019!

This song absolutely works in the level. I was playing through the first bit that's really empty and quiet. 0:50 hit right when I opened the first door and had a room full of baddies staring at me. Excellent job.

The way this starts is amazing, and I'm sure it fits the level like a glove. But it begs the question: will there be any fully ambient themes? Ones where strange sounds from far away don't give way to metal we all know and love?

Yes there already is 2 one is for the hub and is called darktide which you can listen to on his channel and the other one is somewhere else, but you'll have to wait for that one.
