Don't be so hard on yourself! Like you said you haven't had practice being around people like that lately.

Always remember when flying in an airplane and the oxygen masks drop from the ceiling, put your mask on before trying to help anyone else. If you don't take care of yourself, you likely will not be able to care for others. I am a caregiver for a bipolar person, so I understand the challenges. Astrophotography is an excellent activity for self-care. Avoiding or walking away from toxic people and situations is sometimes necessary. Comparing oneself to other people is usually counterproductive. -All from my experience.

Thank you so much my friend!! It certainly doesn’t help that I am fighting to feel well. I’m sure there is a decent touch of depression happening at the same time too. I do need to hold onto the blessings that did happen on the trip; when I shift my vision I can see that there were quite a few. Much love ❤️

The airlines is now like a greyhound bus in the sky. We do not air travel unless it’s absolutely necessary as people are totally out of control and don’t care about anyone else but themselves. Stay calm, breathe and know you are loved and not alone.

You were in an unforeseen situation that was very difficult to live with and really delicate. Significant points, you wanted at all costs to preserve your relationship with your uncle and you were in this person's house. In these circumstances, it isn't easy to manage for anyone, and optimal decisions are not necessarily applicable. We do not have the power to change a person's behavior. I wish you clear nights and the possibility to take great pictures.

Hi Kara, it gives me no pleasure to see you feeling like this. I'm not qualified in any way to offer advice of any kind. There is one thing I have found helpful in recent years - I don't know where it originates from. "Be careful what you tolerate because it teaches others how to treat you" I've found it useful. Best regards.

Thank you so much for your words. I have preached that quote so many times! And it is a wonderful one! This was just so complicated because I was staying in this person’s guest house, and I didn’t want to burn the bridge because they could honestly kick me to the curb and keep me from ever having any more communication with my uncle again. No doubt I tolerated too much with this person, but I did honestly feel like the cost of what I would lose if I didn’t outweighed my ability. Thank you for helping me to even see that aspect of this!! That helps so very much. 🙏🏻

@@Bekindtoyourmind143 Hi Kara, is it perhaps time to be kind to yourself ?

Very much so! It’s an act I struggle to implement on a regular basis.

I am an old guy. In the old days simpler terms made things easier. There was such a thing as SADISTS . Please don't give your power to SADISTIC FOLK. They get off on hurting You. Its simple even if it's SICK. Walking away from it makes you strong. Understanding sadism is like understanding cancer. If you dont have it, you dont need to. Flush this influence from your life.

Thank you so much for this!!! The way in which you worded this was perfect for helping put things in place for me! 🙏🏻
