Hi Em’. I think the hollow tree at 5:00 minutes is a Basswood. If it is they are pretty soft and carve easily. Nice spot for your hammock too, I could easily take a nap in one on a warmer day. Thanks for the video! Hope you have a good night!

I've never slept in a hammock! Had a waterbed and that was all the adventure I needed in Dreamland!🤣 I've always enjoyed you standing next to the trees as it gives scale as to how huge some of those Bad Boys really are! That hollowed out tree @ 5:00 actually looked really healthy too for being as hollow as it is. The bark and branches all appeared to be in great shape. Hilarious story about being spotted by that dude eating his lunch after you were being a Daisy botanist 😂 You gave him a gift that he will forever come back to from time to time! As much as we count down the days till Spring, I'm thinking the Bugs are excited to see us humans too! 😂 Side Trivia....For the month of January 2025, Juneau, Alaska will go on record as being warmer than Ohio and Pennsylvania and surrounding States. First Time Ever since weather records have been kept! 😉 Still laughing at The Bean Bag on The Tree! 😊 MOO From COW-lumbus👋

Ms. Emily, you are simlpy 'one with nature'. Its no wonder creekwalking is so calming to you. I can see you eventually napping serenely in your hammock, maybe dreaming you're a doe prancing through a field of daisies, or a hawk with a birdseye view of your wonderlands. Thanks for going to the trouble to set up there for us if only briefly. / Checked out The Funeral and one day maybe I'll dance at mine. And lastly I can't help but wonder how crazy you get when you're listening to your tunes; like maybe you're dancing all over the place and singing! Thanks. Have a great evening. 😊

"...no different than that deer" I once read this book - Monster of God: The Man-Eating Predator in the Jungles of History and the Mind. In the book he talks about how for most of the time humans have been on earth we were prey and because of this it shaped our our psychology, our minds. Then it goes with chapters talking about animals that still hunt people in far corners of the world. There's ones on salt-water crocodiles, polar bears, and tigers. Then at the end he talks about the challenges of protecting the last of these large predator animals. LOL @ that story about you rolling around in the field and the guy on his lunch break. I used to sleep in a hammock on camping trips. It was the mesh kind. I would put my sleeping bag in it and lace up the opening so I could not fall out. A couple of times I woke up with the diamond mesh pattern in red on my face. I somehow ended up kind of rolled over face down with my bag on top.

Hi Emily ! Nice video, cold day. Great shout out for Youngblud. The guy is definitely out there with high energy and performance. Youngblud's stage presence and character is like Adam Ant meets Billy Idol meets Keith Flint from, The Prodigy. Check out Youngblud's, "Low Life" 1 hour loop song. Kind of Rappy Hip Hop version. The kid's did such a great job singing. My shout to you is anything done by, Ren. A Musician from the UK that does alot of street busking and recording. Have a nice night !

Lol. I used to work at a clinic. One time one of the doctors was telling a patient about surgery options. He said something to the effect of "we will do as much as we can, but you gotta realize you're decaying organic matter just like everybody else." I was like WTF doc lol. @guaporeturns9472 you are misinformed . There are snakes that are semicold and cold weather tolerant. One is our Russian rat snake, the Balkans ratsnakes, European fur line ratsnakes, the Canadian rattlesnakes, and the copperheads, they thrive in semicold weather.
