I hate the fact that average players like you get the opportunity to play in a tour event when there are thousands of good players that will never get the opportunity. It’s the result of a greedy PGA Tour that knows its days are numbered and us trying to cash in until it finally dies.

I just randomly came across this video and had an observation. My best friend has caddied on the tour for the last 22 years. I have been inside the ropes and have played many tournaments and calcutta's with him. Just everyday golf too... Seems like your caddie is trying to play a round vicariously through you. You have to play your game, your shots your lines. If you want an opinion or are unsure ask your caddie and he should have the breaks and landing areas with yardage recorded. He is to give you yardage to hitting areas and know the terrain. . You need to be 💯 on your decisions. I think you should get a professional caddie. They are different makers for a lot of players. Also why they all use the same one for years and years Hope this works out for you. You have a beautiful swing and it looks like a game to be successful

Just my observation but the caddie is more of an assist- grants caddie is calling almost all the shots for Grant which I think was a detriment to this round. I think Grant needs to trust his game/feel and reads and when he is unsure ask the caddie questions for a line/aiming point.

Grant, play your own game when playing in a competitve format. Your caddie is basically shot calling for you, thats bound to make it harder to process a shot. Take what your caddie gives you as food for thought, have a shot you're comfortable with in your head already, and use the caddie as a cross reference. Rather than a shot caller. You seem to play your best golf when relaxed, happy and free swinging

I'm a 73-year-old big fan, Grant. I've been playing golf for 60 years, most of it single digit handicap. I played for years with retired tour players. They are a cut above all other golfers. One day, my retired PGA friend told me he would share a putting trick with me, provided l never shared it with anyone that wasn't a 3 or better. I've stuck to it for forty years. It will lower your score 4-7 strokes a round. It will be one of the best things you ever do in game improvement. When you master it, you'll be a deadly putter. All those 5-10 ft. putts you miss will go in 90% of the time. This offer is for you only. You have a real chance at the tour. You're just missing this putting must. We don't have to meet for me to tell you all about it. It will take practice but will be worth it. Just figure out how to let me know if you're interested. I have an email l use for public things. If you say something on a video or reply here, I'll provide it to you.
