I hate the fact that average players like you get the opportunity to play in a tour event when there are thousands of good players that will never get the opportunity. It’s the result of a greedy PGA Tour that knows its days are numbered and us trying to cash in until it finally dies.

Just my observation but the caddie is more of an assist- grants caddie is calling almost all the shots for Grant which I think was a detriment to this round. I think Grant needs to trust his game/feel and reads and when he is unsure ask the caddie questions for a line/aiming point.

I just randomly came across this video and had an observation. My best friend has caddied on the tour for the last 22 years. I have been inside the ropes and have played many tournaments and calcutta's with him. Just everyday golf too... Seems like your caddie is trying to play a round vicariously through you. You have to play your game, your shots your lines. If you want an opinion or are unsure ask your caddie and he should have the breaks and landing areas with yardage recorded. He is to give you yardage to hitting areas and know the terrain. . You need to be 💯 on your decisions. I think you should get a professional caddie. They are different makers for a lot of players. Also why they all use the same one for years and years Hope this works out for you. You have a beautiful swing and it looks like a game to be successful

Grant, play your own game when playing in a competitve format. Your caddie is basically shot calling for you, thats bound to make it harder to process a shot. Take what your caddie gives you as food for thought, have a shot you're comfortable with in your head already, and use the caddie as a cross reference. Rather than a shot caller. You seem to play your best golf when relaxed, happy and free swinging

I'm a 73-year-old big fan, Grant. I've been playing golf for 60 years, most of it single digit handicap. I played for years with retired tour players. They are a cut above all other golfers. One day, my retired PGA friend told me he would share a putting trick with me, provided l never shared it with anyone that wasn't a 3 or better. I've stuck to it for forty years. It will lower your score 4-7 strokes a round. It will be one of the best things you ever do in game improvement. When you master it, you'll be a deadly putter. All those 5-10 ft. putts you miss will go in 90% of the time. This offer is for you only. You have a real chance at the tour. You're just missing this putting must. We don't have to meet for me to tell you all about it. It will take practice but will be worth it. Just figure out how to let me know if you're interested. I have an email l use for public things. If you say something on a video or reply here, I'll provide it to you.

I half expected to see Wes on the bag since you caddied for him at the WM. Good to see Hen out there with you. Love the dynamics between you too.

Dynamics? Henry calling the shots and seeding him doubts on every shot Grant decided for himself, literally enforcing his way in the middle of backswing...not even one shot he goes with Grant and make him comfortable

Grant your game is in a great spot! I can see you going low tomorrow and potentially having a go at winning it. I haven’t seen too many golfers hitting the ball with every club in the bag as consistent as you right now. Good luck and play your game man! Trust it and have fun!

Nice finishing hole! I would love to see a video of you playing The TPC at Sawgrass with a pro tour caddie like Bones and see how you score.

I’m no expert to tell someone how to play or think mentally while in their round - but I do notice Grant asking Henry A LOT for his current score. Maybe that’s the YT habits talking or something but I feel like Grant repeating his current score over and over maybe promote his subconscious to take over and “force” things in his game more than he wants. Might be a better approach to play each hole as its own round and target -1 every “round” (hole) then add it all up at the end. Of course some holes might be even holes just going for centre of the green and that’s fine but I’ve never seen Grant “miss” off the tee as much in a round or need to make so many recover chips around the green. Fun round to watch and excited to see the results of the Q! Good luck!

Down in Myrtle the greens are going to break more than it looks and you will never get a flier. Our rough is to thick, always club up one.

Great video, I shared this with my son. I know if you do this more often you will be ready tournaments. There’s a big difference in playing for fun to win vs playing in a pga tournament to win. I know you have what it takes in you to win, you have to be the one to go out and get it. You have the talent, so the only thing that’s holding you back is you. In order to beat a PGA Professional, you have to train like a pga professional. Tiger mentioned that when you practice hard, playing in a tournament becomes easy. The next time you’re planning on playing in a PGA tournament. You can make several videos on how you practice and get prepared for a PGA TOURNAMENT. Game changer!! Game On!!! Thanks for sharing. Thanks ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Love Henry but think he was a bit too instructive. I sensed a lack of confidence in Grants voice and I wonder if he was getting too dependent on Henry vs. trusting his game

You got this Grant, you're an amazing golfer, and definitely have the talent to make that cut for the PGA. My only advice to you is.... Don't be too hard on yourself if you miss left or right off the tee ok. Because your short game is always on point. 👍🏌️ All the best from myself here in Auckland, New Zealand!!! 🙏
