Size and weight are their absolute strengths: unobtrusive Unisex functional wristwatches. Too many watches are oversized for the sake of it, we can be thankful traditional models like these are still a thing.

I won't argue but I wasn't going to keep £60 worth of watches that my gut told me I wasn't going to wear. I think if they were around 4mm bigger I'd have been happy. Its a shame as I liked both, but I'm not collecting watches to look at, I buy watches to wear.

The fact that it is small (i.e. the classic 36 mm) makes it so nice IMHO. It looks like a vintage for a throw away price. To my eyes a "modern" big sized copy of a classic is a deal breaker. I've lived through the eighties and I immediately recognize a classic and a copy. So one man's poison is another's meat. Your review actually made me buy it. Can you believe that? For 35 bucks it's a no-brainer. 😀

@@Tim2pointoh Well, you can look at it from the bright side. If you want to buy 'm back: the round model (A171WE) is only 35 Euro (probably $35 in the US). And they even call it "unisex": maybe your wife will like it? So not that big of a problem I think. It would be different if you sent a very rare or out of production model back! 😀

Got the A171. Change the strap to original Casio steel Mesh. And Done. Its light you dont even feel it there ahaha. show the time, got some light, stopwatch, Kinda like the Vintage look. Its the one i wear whenever i go out to some scratchy Place ahahahah😂

I like the vintage look. I was just disappointed they felt so small. I’m kinda regretting sending them back and not persisting with them, but I was strong and thought “no I won’t wear them”….

I wish they did a version of this at 42mm with a no nonsense, large digit, full circular display, like the one in the Casio AE1500WH. The small rectangular display just feels like too much wasted space - like a square peg in a round hole. Something similar to the clean looking Skmei 1734 would be great.

Honestly I agree with u that b640 is very small 🤏 like f91w but I like 640.only corn is that it has a negative display & sometimes it's hard to read 📖 negative displays but it will be great in case of positive display of this but as u have a bigger version of it dw5600 u don't need it..... Advanced marry Christmas & happy new year 2022 mate... 😄

I have an A171 and I like it except for the backlight. I disliked the backlight so much that I decided to replace it with an A168.
