He Cliff. I think you should 100% skip 2024 Florida trips and just have that 1 amazing trip to Tokyo. Seems like 2024 will be kind of quiet on our end. So this might be the right year to go. Sounds fun! I’m with you, Splash should’ve stayed. It’s funny that the same people that call themselves “Disney Purists” on other channels are perfectly fine with Splash being changed into Tiana’s…yet heaven forbid they touch Autotopia, Toads, etc. 😂 I agree with you Tiana’s could’ve gotten her own ride without robbing us of that classic treasure. And like you, this isn’t a commentary on a ride that isn’t even open, yet. I’m sure the Imagineers will do a great job with Tiana’s.

Yes!...I'm flying out Oct 25 and will be there for at least 5 days. I'll spend day 6&7 seeing other aspects of Tokyo. I'm VERY excited to see Splash Mountain and I will document it EXTENSIVELY. I'll have videos of several other attractions too to drop aroubd New Years

You have to come to Japan and shoot the Splash Mountain! definitely the way to go! looking forward to your trip. have been to Tokyo many times. They still have Pirates auction scene (We wants the redhead), pirates chasing ladies. Country Bear Jamboree. Original Roger Rabbit ride, and of course Splash Mountain!

Wait until you experience the drop in Tokyo. The thing is like half as tall. Laff. So weird. Splash is in glorious shape over there as is every ride in Tokyo. Each and every ride gets an annually scheduled refurb. Make sure to check the calendar to ensure things that you want to see aren’t down when you are traveling. Hunny Hunt has been down about 50% of my trips and it always stinks. Laff.

I can help you out with flights :P You can do LAX-Tokyo for $300, then go to Shanghai around $100, then to Hong Kong for another $100, if you are less than 6 days you don't need visa on mainland China, and then for $300 you can get to Paris and another $200-300 back to the US, if you have 2 weeks it's doable. Back in 2019 I did Europe-Shanghai-HK-Tokyo-Europe for $600

Definitely check out Fantasy Spring Too, That sure be a cool place and Tokyo Disneyland wont let you down, some Attractions are really unique, i love the beauty and the beast ride, i cant wait to ride the new frozen ones in June!!! Just A heads up, Most of the Japanese do not like their faces being publicly posted, (don't know how its gonna affect us all, but..), incase you are filming the exterior,(definitely), Also theres tons of performances there, i love their mickey's magical music world. i was thinking of a way to actually film them, They forbid anyone from taking photos or recordings, but thats show was mind blowing, music are insane!!

Yes,...yes,...YES!!!! Hell YES!! I rode it and I LOVED it. Tokyo has the very best "Splash Mountain" of the three. Oriental Land Company keeps it PRISTINE and looking brand new. I will go back to Tokyo again very soon. I'm JEALOUS of their two parks.

Nope!...not this year. I have done everything at WDW a hundred times over. In 2024, there is nothing exciting or new being built so I figured I'd use this year's money to see an old beloved friend (Splash Mountain) in Tokyo and see a ton of new amazing things over there. This is the very first time I have not had an Annual Pass since 1998!!!

I think saying they "destroyed" splash mountain is little harsh and misleading, the actual physical attraction is still there, just rethemed. I will say I loved Splash but TBA looks very promising and I'm very excited for it. I think we can miss what we lost and be excited for what's to come. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Anyway I'm still very excited to see your Tokyo splash video and also everything else in Tokyo. Don't forget Fantasy Springs which just looks incredible. Also did you see that there's a new drone show coming to Disney Springs obviously you don't need your annual pass for that so maybe you could film that!

This is "not" any commentary on the future Tiana's attraction. I have no opinion on this new ride because I know verty little about it. So...the only thing I CAN talk about is my love of "Splash Mountain" which feels like an old beloved friend to me! (So much so that I will literally fly around the world to see it again) When I finally ride Tiana's, only then will I form an actual opinion about it.

@@starship824 - It's all good. I'm being honest...I'm not happy that Splash was removed. I would have MUCH rather seen Disney keep Splash AMD give Tiana a fresh new attraction on it's own. I will be 100% fair and give Imagineering an honest shot at winning me over with what they are doing today. I will judge it only after I ride it in 2025 or 2026. Until then, I'm going around the world to ride what I already know that I love.

​@@CLIFFLIX Have fun! Also it's pretty well known that Tokyo has the best version of Splash! There's even a restaurant inside the mountain. Their version of critter country is almost all themed to Splash! Try not to get your camera wet while filming lol.
