Amen to the dogs thing, Pres Upton! Customer comes in with a friend who's holding a little furball. As I'm helping her with framing her artwork, the friend is hovering and my throat is closing. So, I ask her to please move to the end of the counter, telling her I'm allergic. She got angry... She asked for the manager... And she was wrong legally & morally cuz regular pets aren't allowed in the store. 🙂I just said, "bless your heart", and went back to helping my customer - who was offering her friend no back up. Prob wishing she'd left them in the car (🙄"Can't take Becky anywhere!") Oh, of course I paged the store manager for her. I needed Becky annoying someone else, somewhere else.

I don't take my don't into stores with me to show him off. I take him with me because he helps me with anxiety. He's a Chihuahua and I carry him in a pouch on my chest. But I get what you're saying. I've had people bring huge dogs in the store and don't pay attention to them so they pee on things and scare people. I would never go into a restaurant with my dog or any place serving cooked food.

I'm in the UK, so I watch the insanity from afar. But the dog one, hell yes! I come to US to vacation at Walt Disney World, so sue me. Your description of the jackasses who bring their pet dogs in with Amazon bought 'emotional support animal' badges on them is spot on. You're at the 'Happiest Place On Earth'! Miserable gits, but they do strut around like a five year old wanting you to notice their GI Joe doll, worse still is when they dress up their dogs like dolls.

I just moved into a condo with no pets allowed. I couldnt believe I saw an effing dog in the hallway. Turns out this ridiculous little terrier was indeed an emotional support dog for a big noisy smelly brute who deffo looks like a biker. WTAF? Ya got emotional problems, solve them with personal growth, not a toy animal.

People that bring their dogs into public places are selfish and disrespectful to their fellow citizens. Dogs never came into public businesses until the past 20-25 years when we became a me first, selfish society. Dog people take advantage of our politeness not to say something. Some people dont like dogs. Dogs make some people nervous but you dont care, do you? Ive seen dogs fight in a brew pub. Ive seen a dog bite a child in a restaurant. Ive seen a dog shit in aisle of a supermarket and watch the owner walk away. Ive see a dog piss on a slot machine in a casino. You dont care. You and your dog are perfect. Leave your f****** dog at home.

I'd for sure vote for you!! But if your on disability, you need to bring your dog into public places. It's the law. These are called service dogs. They provide services for the person that disabled.

Brad, I heartily agree with the shopping cart rules, but the dog thing has to go. Yes, there are the annoying dog 'parents' who need to go but my last dog was better than having kids, of wihich I have two. And, I never wanted anyone to pet her or get too close. She didn't like other people and was such a joy in my sad, miserable life. Too bad I didn't see your name on my ballot.

I love your jokes, all except the dog ones… Pitbulls are not agressive even if there Is bacon in your pants, unless you taught them to be. And I have seen and even had to retrain cute little Shi Tzu dogs because their idiot owners think a little dog being agressive is “cute”, dogs learn what you teach them! And SERVICE dogs are not pets… Yes pets should stay out of stores restaurants and movie theaters. Service dogs HELP a human function in their daily life. Some help victims of PTSD but most help with mobility or sensory disabilities, and some help diabetics or epileptics to know before their human does, that a health crisis is impending. So, Brad 2024, keep the fart machines at home unless you NEED your service dog who happens to sometimes fart. Thanks!

they have to put the carts back in the store anyway at some point, esp if weather is bad, leaving them anywhere doesn't help with their employment, just makes an already stressful job more annoying..
