I'm sad

The secret is out, I've been feeling sad! I just wanted to talk about some things that have been on my mind. I also do a little reflecting on the year. Enjoy me crying.

I work with college students sort of like a mentor/coach and man, the amount of times I've had this talk with students as their approaching their junior/senior year! Change is good, but scary for sure -- it's just a sign that you're evolving into a new YOU. So proud that you opened up about how you're feeling, it's not easy at all. Keep feeling what you need to feel and keep pushing, you're doing amazing :) Good luck in Copenhagen!

Two of my siblings are getting married this year and I totally get what you're going through!! It's hard to feel like you're losing them/your relationship with them is changing. Of course, there is so much joy that comes with seeing them so happy with the person they love (and gaining a bonus sibling), but change can still hurt. Don't feel guilty about feeling allll the emotions

I hate that you are sad. Thank you for sharing this though it really does help others to know they are not alone. You sharing this shows that you are strong! You got this! These next steps might seem hard but just take it step by step. I will be praying for you. You can always trust in the Lord to help you though this as well. I sought the Lord and he helped me with all my fears! Hope this new change brings you joy.

Life abroad was so life changing! I felt the exact same way leaving for abroad but it was truly so amazing 🫶🏻 I totally feel where you’re coming from though. I can’t wait to see you crush it in Cope!!

Hi Emma your video came across my recommended page and I think it’s for a reason so here goes ❤ I don’t want to make this about me, but to share some insight with you. This has been the most challenging year of my life. Not to get into too many details, but a lot of the relationships I thought would be permanent have collapsed. I’ve experienced so many hurts this year. What keeps me going is not trying to change the past but pouring all of my energy into building the future. We have to accept that people will fade away sometimes abruptly. Through healing and forgiveness, I was able to let them go through grace. When you are brave enough to release the past, you allow new things to come into your life. One thing I’ve also noticed is no one is coming to save us. Everyone has their cross to bear and we are responsible for the life we want to create. Allow yourself to feel hurt, cry, get upset and mourn the things that once were. I promise the other side is so beautiful. Do not think of this chapter in your life as an end but rather small beginnings. Read Jeremiah 29:11 and remember the Lord doesn’t leave us. I am rooting for you ❤
