Grateful to have known you over those last 10 years (ish), and you’ve come a really long way. You’re doing more than what most people your age around you are doing. You hold yourself to a very high standard, and that can sometimes get to you. End goals and dreams are worth having, but at the same time, dont lose yourself in the process. Enjoy the journey!

Salam Hajid Honestly having turned 18 in October I feel the same way. The 2020’s have been rough for me ngl but alhamdulilah I’m getting through it. The notion of always wanting to look back on the past and reliving it and thus not living in and enjoying the present has been a theme of the 2020’s for me and I’m just now starting to live in the present snd enjoy it since Ramadan The grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s greener where you water it. If you’re constantly always looking back to the “better days” of the past then you’re missing your chance to make new memories, forge new bonds and have fun in the present Overall an amazing video and it sorta reminded me of a similar video called “You Are Enough” by Muaz Osman في النهاية شكرا للفيديو دا ياصلي. إن شاء الله انت واسرتك في الامان. تحيات مني، يا هاجد. من انا، حسن

Wow thank you for this comment honestly, really beautiful. I think covid played a big part in affecting our concept of time. What you said about the grass being greener where you water it is so true and a nice way to look at things. Thank you for your constant support my man and hopefully your family's all good aswell ❤️

@@hajidhusam Alhamdulilah we’re doing fine. This Ramadan was the first time it actually felt like Ramadan in a long while. I’m glad what I said was relatable to you Hajid, I’ll keep trying to keep my head up even after graduation on the 30th (InshaAllah I don’t become a Super-Senior lol). Keep up the great work :)

I find your take on this very interesting. For me I felt so much dread about aging for so many years and since I was 18 every time a birthday rolls around I kinda get anxious about how I’m growing older but still feel the same an stagnant. But once I turned 24 alhamdulliah I felt at peace and finally feel “my age” if that makes sense

SubhanAllah I see your point of view, I think its because I made it a point to look at things from this point of view it helps you stay grounded and look beyond the dread
