The last production car designed by Virgil M. Exner Sr. (1909-1973) the Stutz Blackhawk was in production from 1970 to 1984.

Not the original dashboard plate. I saw this car in Las Vegas and it had ‘Mr Elvis Presley’ engraved on a silver plate on the dashboard. Fats Domino’s Mercedes limo was at the same casino venue...

The difference with this car is, he gave it to his doctor (Dr. Ghanem) which is verifiable. Also, Elvis owned a few of these. He also has one on display at his home at Graceland.

Supposedly, Presley bought the first Blackhawk made for sale in 1971 and it is on display at Graceland. A 1973 is on display there also. 25 of them were hand built in 1971 and only 16 are known to exist. Elvis bought up to five of them total through 1973 including another 1971 which was for his Las Vegas doctor who's name is on the Dash plate of this car. The sign on the seat in the video says this also. This is all second hand info to me.

I’m actually going to reshoot this video and add the back story on this car.?because I’m getting a few comments on it like, this is not his actual car when it is. So I am going to do another video on the car with all the details. The only thing that will not be in it is the actual owner of the car because he doesn’t want anyone to know who he is.

@@ChannelPretty Everything about the car equals to what I was told about Elvis' cars. My info is vague and non verified but I did a little research on a few things which lined up also. The split windshield makes it a rare one and also some later years were not hand built.
@ChannelPretty
@ChannelPretty 2 жыл бұрын
@@POLITICALHYBRID Wow!!! You’re actually better than I gave you credit for! That is very true. He actually has the only vehicle with a split windshield. And it would not pass DMV’s codes. Which is why it was only made that year. And they never made another one. The car was also hand made in Italy. And it’s based off of an American chassis car. They took the entire and basically threw it away. They mainly wanted it for its chassis. But all of this info and more will be included in the next video on the car. Still arranging the shoot now.

Man, that car BEEN SOLD! And if you wanna see that paperwork, you'd be probably risking your life asking such a thing... because the owner at the time of filming was/is an old school Italian cat that owns a good portion of Las Vegas! You get what I'm saying? But, I've seen the paperwork myself. So I know it's what he says it is. They all hung around each other back in those days.

he bought a black 1971 (your that was gifted to the doc) and a 1971 which was also white and leased a white 1972 and a black 1973, his favorite Blackhawk, which he purchased at the end of the lease; this 1973 car is also on display at Graceland. “September of 1971, also finished in black. A year later, he'd order a 1972 model in white, followed on September 6, 1974, by a fourth Stutz Blackhawk III, a 1973 model in black with red leather, complete with gold-plated trim.Perhaps because of the loss of his first Stutz, Elvis reserved the 1973 Blackhawk for his own use, and personally racked up 8,450 miles in three years. It was in this car that Elvis was photographed just past midnight on August 16, 1977” A few things I’ve found since I was reading up

@@ChannelPretty well I was on the same boat as them at first Elvis only had one the prototype. So I’m sitting here saying “oh man this boy is liar and tryin to make money off Elvis’s name and with his new movie is out it’s perfect marketing strategies” but the other me the more intellectual side was well let’s read everything I possibly can and figure out my own verdict and see rather then call this guy a liar and fake and downgrade him. And little did I know I was wrong myself
@ChannelPretty
@ChannelPretty 2 жыл бұрын
@@tristan9680 Well that’s really big of you to admit that! Because all of the info is in fact online. All they have to do is fact check. But I also did this video a long time ago. Before his movie was even coming out. I would interview the actual owner of the car, but he does not want to be bothered with stuff like that. He’s an older Italian from New York and doesn’t play games at all. Which is why he elected me to sell the car for him. But he ran with people that I cannot mention here. But what I can say is, he did run with that crowd also. The Frank Sinatra’s, the rat pack, the Elvis Presley’s.

Elvis who?? no one knows who you talking about.. let me tell you what you got, this here is a 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix in 2022... this ain't good for global warming and ain't going to be passing any smog test and due to the age, the thing drinks gas, i would say alot needs to be replace and seeing that the original body is missing that not good either as you can't get parts for it.. tell ya what the scrap value of this car is $250 right?? then i'll do you a solid and give you $2k for it cash right now.. the Elvis Presley name don't have that fame or collector crowd like it once did (mainly due to most of his original fan base has aged or died and younger ppl don't want to be associated with something "uncool" that is old ppl saying whats cool) but with that said his name still brings in money (and i still don't understand why).. Elvis was a car enthusiast so he had some really nice cars that and the fact that Stutz cars is some serious collectable cars i would say that this car is worth around $200k by itself and when you factor in Elvis maybe double its price so you may be looking at a $400k car... too rich for my blood...

Not my car to say. It belongs to my old landlord. And most of the things you said are right. With the exception of Elvis’ name being dead, as most of his fans are too old or died off. There’s actually a movie coming out of his life very soon. So that alone has revived the name and his brand. And with a legacy as huge as his, there is ALWAYS going to be a collector that will be interested in owning something that he once owned. Say what you will, but he wasn’t referred to as “The King” for no reason.
