I was rewatching some of brysons videos recently and i came upon this one. As a 13 year old girl, this really resonated with me. Im literally like 4" 11. IM BEING SERIOUS I AM THAT SHORT. people always bug me about it and its so annoying. People tell me "oH sInCe YoUr A gIrL, uR hEiGhT dOeSnT mAtTer" but it really does. Ive gotten more used to it though, and this video reminded me that im not the only one who is/was super short in their teen years. (Also, im superior at hide and seek lmao)

I remember so many times when other kids would point out how short other people were. I remember one time in the lunch line there was a kid named Diego and a kid named Owen behind me. Both of them were talking and then out of no where Owen says “ Not to be mean or anything but you’re really short” I also remember another time many years ago in the lunch line again there was a girl named Sammy who was like 5’6 which was really tall for our age. I have a similar problem but it's the other way around. I look way older than i actually am by like 6-7 years. One time I went to get my nose pierced and the person at the counter told me that I looked so much older than I was and it really made me feel weird 'cause like what if someone tried something and wouldn't believe me when i tell them that i am younger than i look.

I am 11 and my teacher bullied for being short So I was playing around and the kindergarten teacher was there so my teacher said I'll sent you back there for being bad and you'll bee the correct size and everyone was like oooohhhhh and I started crying and he said sorry but nowone cares and he does that every day. I seriously don't get what's so awesome about being tall. Like, I hit my head on literally everything and wasn't able to jump on bouncy houses or climb monkey bars and stuff when I was seven or eight because I was too tall and weighed too much (either that or I'm just fat). The only good thing about being tall is that you can reach stuff and get to go on amusement park rides that say 'you must be this tall' or something. I'm not saying being short is a picnic either, but I guess no matter what your height is, it sucks (unless your average, but barely anyone really wants to be average).
