@@bernandoturner4840 The thought crossed my mind. It seems most of the big dealers around Tulsa a paying salaries for basic clerks instead of commissioned sale reps. I have been told that salary base is 38-45K a year…if you can last a year. I don’t know if any dealer is willing to put a guy on the floor for just a day or 2 per week. I hated missing family functions and working every Saturday without fail.

My mother owns an 07 with 125k and everything and I mean everything has broke on that POS. Air Suspension, lift gate, power seat motor, sun roof leak, coil packs, cats on exhaust, starter, alternator, blend door for the AC/Heat, blower motor resister, and even a parasitic drain on the battery. As a mechanic I personally fixed everything and because Ford only warrantied her vehicle for 35k. She got rid of that thing 8 years ago but she lost so much time and money with this money pit. Maybe, she bought a lemon but I have worked on many Expeditions and Navigators and I say get rid of them after 140k period. Nothing but problems I mean it

We drove to Texas in rented 2022 top of line Suburban and I am not going to say it wasn't nice. We have a 2013 Suburban LTZ extended and I have to say, the only two features I really missed when we turned the car was the bigger screen and the lane departure sensor (which was a tad annoying at times, but a nice safety feature). No way I am paying 100k for a car for a handful of bells and whistles. Most of the tech I could live without and it's just making vehicles too expensive.

I’ve never driven a Ford that I liked. Build quality was awful and there was always an annoying squeak. All I care about is comfort with my next scar, so I’m looking at Lexus ES, Camry and Buick. I’d prefer a sedan, but it’s all about comfort and all wheel drive. I’m not scared off by made in China. I’m more scared off by back pain.
