Honestly, details like that make the whole game a fantastic homage to the cheesy low-budget zombie exploitation films of the 70s and 80s. A lot of commenters are saying the game looks really crappy, but if you're familiar with those movies it's a lot easier to see what the developers were going for with this game and in that respect, they succeeded with flying colors.

Yup, in fact the plot is directly ripped from City. The priest hanging himself and cracking open the gates of hell is the exact same plot as City lol. The eye ripping bit is taken from Zombi 2, and there's plenty of other references sprinkled in as well. Enjoyable, nasty films them all, especially City.
