Good to hear you are sharing some of your furniture with your Mom and she is able to dog sit for you. I hope you are able to find a Trailer Park/Mobile Home Park that is affordable. You can save up and move, it would be nice to see you and your sister live closer together.

If the chiropractic is too intense, you can try osteopathy. There are gentle modalities that can achieve same results. Also if body is recoling from chiropractic adjustments, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories such as Diclophenac can be helpful. Also if you are able to use Tylenol it can also be key, as the body responds to its perception of trauma, even though its a healing modality, yet the body can respond by tightening muscles to "protect" you, when that actually slows or prevents healing. A simple step such as Tylenol can interrupt the body's reactivity especially when taken at night when there is less movement allowing the nervous system and muscles to relax as much as possible. I have a musculoskeletal spinal injury since 2006...managing muscles, pain, healing and the nervous system is a tricky balance, and there's no one fit... Each body responds differently. Hope there might be aomething useful in this for you, and hope you feel better soon.

Starlink works remotely too... Not sure how much it costs. You tubers use it that are nomadic. Not sure how they set it up, but they do rave about how good it works. Portable... Maybe can go in the car with you for road trips too.

Hi Melissa. I'm glad that you were able to get a hotspot & that your laptop was fixed. You can now watch YT on your laptop if you want a bigger screen. If you need a desk, you can get get a folding laptop table which you can use while in bed. You can also get a folding table which can double as a dining table - your choice. I hope your ribs heal soon and that your sister finds a spot to park the other tiny house. If she finds a spot, can you guys exchange tinies? AT&T bought Cricket, so I used to pay AT&T $120 a month for cell phone/Internet and I had AT&T for 20 years. One day, my Uncle had told me about Cricket and I had never heard of Cricket. My Uncle told me that AT&T bought out Cricket, so Cricket uses the same cell phone towers of AT&T. I went into a Cricket store and had switched to Cricket, which was bought out by AT&T and my bill went down to $55 and no calls when I went traveling out of the Country were ever dropped. I just never checked into how hot spot service would work in a RV or Tiny Home. A video suggestion…What do people use for internet in a Tiny Home or RV? How service works and a cost. I am getting my house remodeled to sell, so I can buy a RV until, I find land to buy in Arizona and put a Tiny Home on it…But, I have soo much to learn about RV and Tiny Home life 😮.

Thank goodness you were able to get a hotspot!! I have been worried about a potential emergency and you having no way to contact anyone. Since you have paid for the rent would you be able to just move your little blue house into the spot and let your sister take this one of your mom's when she's ready? It doesn't seem fair that you have to give up your home. You've been through so much already. As I understand it, the original plan was that your sister would take your mom's house and you would keep your blue home. Hi Sandy. If your phone signal is good in your location, you can use your phone as a mobile hotspot. You just have to look at your phone's settings. Then you can use your phone as hotspot (like a router) to connect a laptop or tablet to the internet. (You won't need a separate thingy like Melissa does. She needed a separate thingy since there's no signal at her place.) Hope that helps.

The mobile hotspot is called "Cricket". It's $79 for the unit (the thingy) then $55 monthly for her data plan (there may be higher plans available).

Yes, the highest plan they had was $90 a month. I figured I'd start with the 55 one, since my mom watches yt all day lol and she does fine with her 55 a month plan.

@eileen - Melissa's lease wasn't renewed at ITH so she's now living at her mom's tiny house in another place. If you don't drive, I guess you can hitch a ride with others (?). The ITH area seems a bit isolated. It's in an industrial area and there are neighboring factories & vehicle graveyard. No grocery stores within walking distance. As for their trash, they have to bring it to an area 5 min (?) away. If you can't do it yourself, there's someone who will do it for a fee. As for the lot buy-in fee/ infrastructure fee/ key money, yes you still have to pay it and it's now 15k to 40k, depending on the location of the lot. Key money is non refundable & non transferable. That's aside from the cost of buying the tiny house from ITH.
