Nicely built, but too small for my liking. Would be interesting to stack another container on top for a bedroom & den with probably an enclosed stairs on the side to connect the two. I'd definitely expand into the deck with a 3 seasons room with screens.

Make sure to clean your drains in your sinks in your kitchen!!! I put vinegar and hot water with a couple of drops of dawn. You have to clean them once or twice e a week. The water sitting in the drains creates the gnats!!!

I put bleach down my disposal every month just to keep it from not getting clogged , but um sure it will help with your bug problem

Those container homes are so cool! In Tennessee the gnats are terrible and they breed in your pipes and you need to keep the pipes cleaned out regularly as mentioned by someone else I use a commercial cleaner that restaurants use you can find at Lowe’s and put it down the drains when I go to bed every three months. If I didn’t do that I would have gnats as well as septic flies which are so irritating.

I was wondering if they were drain flies instead of gnats, I keep my drain stoppers in place and that seems to work; Arizona may not be gnat country because we're so dry.

Thanks for the tour. I had always wondered what the 8x20 container home looked like, ITH stopped making them not long after I ran across their channel and website. I've been in the 40 foot version they sell, I like it better because of the bedroom. This is a nice tiny home, too bad the lit isn't available.

It is spacious, but the kitchen is like a closet. No windows? Otherwise it is nice. I love the rear deck and tree.

Big price with no outhouse. 😂 Containers are cheap. I do like the idea of a container house it's not hard to add on if you need more space. It could fit into any landscape or lifestyles.😊

I remember when that container was 1st toured and I couldn't for the life of me understand why someone wouldn't have any Windows at the kitchen, etc. I guess the next owner can add some windows but I wonder how hard that would be in an already finished container? They sure put a neat deck off the back.

Yes I wondered that too. But pacified myself that if I Was in an apartment I would not have necessarily have windows since there was a big glass sliding door. Open the curtains and there is plenty of light. Thanks for your thoughts.

0 I know you probably got a lot of tapes telling you people what to do about all that. But a sure bet if you spray your outside with half pinesole and half water mixed together good spread around outside around your doors to keep gnats and flies away I redo mine every few days. Also on the inside if you will spray Lysol it'll get rid of all this black gnats on the inside

It's always a high turnover where the elderly live. Dying, going back with family, nursing homes.

I was wondering the exact same thing Abby. I am curious if it is something to do with how things are run and managed in the communities there at all of those ITH Communities, because it seems like a lot of the homes go up for sale within 6 months to a year after the people move in.
